WHO or WHAT IS A VINTAGE FRENCH HEN????

"WHAT,"  I  ASK,  "IS  A  VINTAGE

FRENCH  HEN????????"

This  is  going  to  be  a  long  post,  so  grab  your  grape  nuts,

cup  of  coffee,  no  you  better  bring  the  whole  pot

and  settle  in.....you  might  want  to  take  your  phone  off

the  hook  and  turn  all  cell  phones  off...lol

I  DID  HAVE  40  PICTURES  TO  SHOW  YOU,  but  it  said

an  error  occurred  during  saving,  so  I  don't  know  how

many  will  show  up.

I  became  familiar  with  the  Vintage  French  Hen

when  she  posted  this  Give  Away  from

what  I  like  to  refer  to  as

The  Vintage  French  Hen  House.

THE  VINTAGE  FRENCH  HEN  HAS  A  NAME:

MARCIA.

SHE  IS  VERY  BEAUTIFUL  FOR  A  VINTAGE  FRENCH

HEN...SHE  DOESN'T  EVEN  HAVE  HEN  FEET....HAHAHAHA

OKAY!!!

I  have  had  enough  fun  on  Marcia's  behalf.

When  you  are  through  looking  at  pictures  of  the

Give  Away  I  won

please  go  visit  her  and  leave  a  cluck  or  two  at:

This  is  my  first  clue  about  Marcia.  She  took  the  time

to  search  my  blog  and  knew  I  loved  the  Eiffel  Tower.

She  does  also.

She  drew  this  parsian  scene  on  the  envelope  to  the  card

she  sent  me.

Isn't  it  wonderful  to  meet  someone,  who  makes  you  feel

so  special.

There  was  a  kindred  spirit  that  just  enveloped  me  when

the  box  was  open.

You  can't  tell  from  Mr.  Simply  and  my  photography

skills  but  this  is  the  most  adorable  cat  card  full  of

sparkles.  It  is  so  pretty.

Who  would  have  thought  I  LOOOVVVEEE  CATS

since  I  have  three  of  them.

She  made  this  pretty  wall  hanging.   It  is  made

from  burlap,  sheet  music,  and  the  hearts  are  in

what  else...French...with  sweet  little  buttons.

I  did  have  pictures  of  Andy,  my  cat,  inspecting  the

box  and  I  deleted  them  because  it  already  said

an  error  had  occurred,  and  I  knew  40  pictures  was

just  a  tad  too  many  clucks.

A  cluck  cluck  here,

A  cluck cluck  there

here  a  cluck

there  a  cluck

every  where  a  cluck  cluck

The  Vintage  French  Hen  is  soooooo  much  fun.

She  just  keeps  SPRING  A  LIVE  IN  MY  HEART.

SPRING  makes  us  happy,  joyful,  and  giddy.

To  me...

KEEPING  SPRING  ALIVE  IN  MY  HEART

stands  for  when

my  JESUS  AROSE  From  the  Grave,

Glory  Hallejuah....

and  if  that  isn't

SOMETHING  TO  BE

Happy  and  Joyfull  about

I  don't  know  what  is.

Look  at  the  beautiful  paper...it  is  like  a  robin  egg  blue

with  a  red  outline  of  birds...I  tell  you  it  is  divine...and  it  is

almost  the  texture  of  wall  paper....My  Mr.  Simply  and  I

was  looking  at  it  and  at  the  edge  of  the  paper,  it  says,

Made  In  Italy.

If  I  had  a  Hutch  I  would  paint  it  red  and  then

line  the  hutch  with  this  paper  and  try  to  find  birds

for  the  handles...it  would  be  stunning....

E  mail  me  My  fReNcH  hEn  and  let  me  know  if

I  can  Obtain  some  more  of  this  paper  and  where.

I  just  fell  in  love  with  Marcia  going  through  her  box.

Truly,  it  was  like  Christmas  and  each  package  had  her

special  touch.  I  could  just  see  her  setting  in  her  studio

primping  each  package.

All  of  her  tags,  ribbons,  and  little  jewels  are  going  to  put

in  a  special  place  and  I  will  do  a  post  about  it  later.

If  you  enlarge  the  picture  you  will  see  the  beautiful

chandie  prism  she  decorated.  It  is  stunning  with  the  black

design  behind  it  and  black  ribbon...will  be  so  pretty

hanging  from  a  lamp,  a  display hook,  or  a  hundred  other

places...and  of  course  you  could  always  hang  it  from

your  chandie...hahaha

This  is  a  quilted  bed  jacket.  Inside  the  bed  jacket

when  you  opened  it  was  a  piece  of  lavender  and  a

french  page  and  linen.....Marcia  had  a  tag  that

said  she  loved  vintage  linen...we  are  united.

I don't  know  if  we  got  a  picture  of  the  crane

doily  but  I   have  never  seen  anything  like  it.

It  is  all  white  and  the  edge  is  surrounded  by

cranes.  It  is  quite  beautiful  and  Marcia  penned,  it

is  said  that  cranes  bring  luck.

These  two  books  were  wrapped  in  a  pattern  instruction

sheet  and  the  ribbon  was  stunning  as  well  as  the

puffed  heart.

I  will  really  enjoy  these  books.

This  is  the  photograph  of  the  tag  that  she  penned  she

loved  vintage  linen.

What  I  loved  about  this  give  away...more  than  the  give  away...

were  the  tags  that  had  writing  on  the  front  and  back

and  little  charms.  It  was  like  Marcia  herself,  got  out  of

the  box  and  was  talking  to  me.

I  know  it  may  seem  silly  to  carry  on  about  a

give  away  but  it  was  just  so  sweet  and  adorable  and

I  could  feel  her  heart.

Marcia  is  one  of  those  friends  that  you  make  for  life

and  you  can't  wait  until  the  next  time  you  talk  to  her.

This  is  a  beautiful  tablecloth.  I  didn't  unfold  it

for  the  picture.

I  wanted  to  get  all  the  pictures  taken  and  then  later

today  I  will  set  down  and  just  touch  everything.

She  sent  a  beautiful  white  pristine  pinafore  apron.

I  HUNG  IT  UP  IN  THE  CLOSET  UNTIL  I  DO

MY  SPRING  CLEANING.  It  is  such  fun  to  wear.

I  did  a  few  slow  circles  around  the  kitchen.

Isn't  this  dove  gorgeous  and  the  Valentine  swag

across  the  wrapped  gift.  The  hearts  are  made  from

felt  with  lace  threaded  through  them.

This  was  a  FAITH  Bingo  Card.  She  attached  a  tag

that  her  FAITH  was  very  important  to  her...we're

united.

She  sent  some  pretty  lace  with  a  beautiful  stem  of

lavender.  I  love  lavender  but  I,  personally,  have

never  had  it  grow  for  me...I  probably  talked  it  to

death.

The  IRONIC  thing...wherever  I  go  I  always  buy

a  newspaper  so  I  can  study  the  town  I  am

visiting...OH  YES  SHE  DID...SHE  SENT  ME

THE  NEWSPAPER  FROM  HER  TOWN.  I  WAS

OVER  THE  MOON.  I  love  to  read  the  newspaper.

I  AM  VERY  EASY  TO  PLEASE...

That  is  why  I  am  called

SIMPLY  DEBBIE.

This  is  one  of  the  things  Marcia  is  famous  for...

her  ANGEL  WINGS.

One  side  says

Merry  Christmas

in  FRENCH

AND

The  other  side  is  plain.

She  has  these  beautiful  creations  in

her  ETSY  SHOP  to  purchase.

I  DID  FORE  WARN  THIS  WAS  THE  LONGEST

POST  I  HAVE  EVER  DONE.

Ladies  and  Gents,  this  is  the  most  stunning

vintage  mercury  heart  from  France.  I  could  have

just  cried  thinking  about  all  the  families  that

hung  it  upon  their  Christmas  trees,  and

 how  it  made  its'

journey  across  the  ocean.  I  am  going  to  to  find  an

ornament  hook  and  place  a  cloche  over  it.

It  will  remind  me  that  God  does  give  us  the

desires  of  our  heart,  when  He  is  first  in  our

life.

Here  is  Andy  reading  the  two  books...even  though  they

are  upside  down  to  him.

Andy  could  work  in  Quality  Assurance.

Andy  is  looking  at  his  younger  brother  Walker.

He  told  him  to  go  on,  he  was  too  young  to  read.

He  almost  looks  like  a  painting.

This  is  the  top  of  the  apron...it  is  so  very  pretty.

This  is  one  of  the  bottom  corners  of  the  apron.

BEAUTIFUL  VINTAGE  HANKERCHIEF

beautiful  sheet  music

THIS  IS  A  BEAUTIFUL  ROSE  FOR  YOU  MY

VINTAGE  FRENCH  HEN.

YOU  ARE  SO  LOVELY  AND  I  KNOW  WE  WILL

BE  FRIENDS  FOR  A  LONG,  LONG  TIME.

MANY  HUGS  OF  THANKS  TO  YOU  MARCIA.

I  HOPE  A  LOT  OF  NEW  FRIENDS  COME  YOUR  WAY.

I  HOPE  YOUR  JOY  IS  A  100  TIMES  WHAT  IT  USUALLY  IS.

I  PRAY  THEY  FIND  JULINIO  SAFE  AND  NO  HARM

AND  KEEP  YOU  UNTIL  WE  BLOG  AGAIN.

THANK  YOU  FOR  STICKING  WITH  ME  TO  THE  END

AND  I  PRAY  THIS  ALL  PRINTS  AND  I  DO  NOT

HAVE  TO  START  OVER...PLEASE  GOD

HAVE  A  SUGAR  SWEET  DAY
