THE GENTLEST OF HANDS...Keepin' SPRING in my heart

I  belong  to  the

BLISSFULL  ATC  SWAP.

Each  month  we  have  a  new  theme.

JANUARY'S  WAS:

SNOW  AND  WHITE.

I  can  post  my  ATC  now  because  Robin  my

ATC  SWAP  Partner  has  already  received  her

card  from me.

I  loved  this  graphic  when  I  saw  it.

It  made  me  think  how  God  always  has  his

umbrella  of  love  over  us,  even  when  it  does  not

seem  like  it.

I  titled  my  ATC,

"SHELTER  FROM  THE  SNOW!"

God,  throughout  the  bible,  talks  about  his

precious  creatures.

He  even  says  that  he  knows  every  time  a

Sparrow  falls  and  how  much  more  important  are

we  to  him  than  a  sparrow.

This is the envelope  that  I  made  to  send  my

ATC  card  in.  Try  as  I  may I could  not  get

the  snowman  to  line  up  at  the  pocket.

PRAYER  REQUESTS

Before  we  go  over  our  prayer  needs  I  would

like  to  share  something.

Just  this  week  alone  I  have  heard  several  people

state  what  a  hard  time  they  were  going  through

and  didn't  want  to  be  a  BOTHER...they  did  not

want  to  be  a  bother.  That hurts me.

We  all  blog  for  different  reasons:  Art, Quilting,

Sewing,  Home  decorating,  Candle  making,

Cooking  and  on  and  on...

BUT

WE  ALL  CARE  ABOUT  ONE  ANOTHER,

ESPECIALLY  WHEN  YOU  ARE  GOING  THROUGH

A  HARD  TIME.

I  love  this  quote:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"A  friend  is  one  to  whom  one  may  pour
out  all  the  contents  of  one's  heart,  chaff  and
grain  together,  knowing  that  the  gentlest
of  hands  will  take  and  sift  it,  keep  what  is
worth  keeping  and  with  a  breath  of  kindness
blow  the  rest  away."
~Arabian  Proverb
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I thought  that  was  the  most  beautiful  quote  I

have  ever  read.

I  believe  it  is  now  my

"FAVORITE",  as  quotes  go.

Hello Debbie...I love your snow and bird ACT...I miss the snow. It's all over the world, except here...but I also appreciate the sunshine we've been having and the honey bees that have been buzzing - reminders/messengers of the impending Spring.

That Arabian Proverb is very lovely indeed. No wonder it's your new favorite.

It's nice to visit with you again, Debbie, and I will pray for all those brave and precious lives that are battling the big, bad C.

Blessings to you and yours,
Doris

Hi Debbie,
Loved your cute lil card you made and the whole message behind it, and I thought the envelope was cute too!

Wonderful quote as well! We all go thru some sort of tribulations all the time, and it is good to have a good friend with a empathetic, non judgemental ear that will sift the things we say and know when or if
there is some truth we need to hear and also be willing to deliver it if need be or just listen and empathisize.

Prayed for everyone on the list,
there is just so many people everywhere that are afflicted in
some way, we have quite a number
on our prayer list with cancer as well.

Good News is we recently heard of a dear friend of 40 yrs. Monica who was healed by the Lord, we are so happy for her and her family, and so happy to see someone who has beat it, oh also, Kirk Douglas beat his too!!

You have a wonderful week hon,
Good to see you post,
Blessings, Nellie

THANK YOU MY FRIEND FOR BEING A PRAYING FRIEND.

I hope that the people on your list know that there are many people that are praying for them, and I hope we all include a prayer for the countless numbers that we have not heard about.

Your card is soft and caring - I think the way you are.
