My heart is just broken for the parents waiting to find out if their child is among the dead.
Three hours ago, during morning announcements a shooter entered the elementary school, killing 18 children...8 adults and then the shooter was found dead. They believe most of the children were in a kindergarten class.....so tragic and at Christmas.
There are no words...TEARS...TERROR...ANGER... except I pray the parents feel the love and grace of God through all those who extend their hands..

I have had a daughter die but I cannot even begin to imagine your grief. To send your child to a "safe" school and then you stand, pacing, waiting to see if your precious child is one that will not be coming home...I am so very sorry you have to go through this. I know the United States send their prayers, love and tears. The road is going to be rocky for a time.

I just blogged about this also and, like you...what can you even say? Devastating heartbreak doesn't even begin to cover what these parents must be going through.
I've been praying and crying...it's a very sad day...

I am watching it now - my heart goes out to the mommies who won't be able to put their babies to sleep tonight.
