EVERY THING CALLED
"LOVE"
<><<><<><<><<><
I "LOVE" and collect bumble bees.
That is not unusual
since
Debbie
means
"bee"
or
"seeker of the sweet."
When it comes to sweets I am
like a blood hound that can smell a
cherry or peach cobbler 10 miles away
with out the wind blowing.
<><<><<><<><<><<><
My sweet Mr. Simply bought me the
adorable bumble bee
in the photograph above.
It made my day
and
Mr. Simply's night.
<><<><<><<><<><<><<><
My first introduction to the
bumble bee was when I was about
five years old.
I don't remember the incident but my parents
tell me about it from time to time.
I saw a bumble bee under our big apricot tree.
My parents heard me screaming and came
running out side.
My daddy forced my hand open and there was
a bright yellow and black bumble bee
with his stinger stuck in my palm.
Between crying and sniffles, I said,
"I only wanted to be his friend!"

Life can sting us some times.
Life can betray us some times.
Life can hurt us some times.
It can bring loss...
It can bring illness...
It can bring us poverty...
Depression
Loss of Hope...
(9) But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient
for you, for my power is made perfect in
weakness." Therefore I will boast all the
more gladly about my weaknesses, so that
Christ's power may rest on me.
(10)That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight
in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in
persecutions, in difficulties.
For when I am weak, then I am
strong.
~2 Corinthians 12 : 9 - 10

THANK YOU to all who prayed for Korbi
and Leila's family. I am going to make a
little book and place all your sweet comments
in it and give to Korbi to share with
Leila's family. I will also make one for
Mother M.
I know it will bring them comfort.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRAY
FOR
Shauna and Debbie
and
Mosaic Magpie, aka Debbie Hembree,
whose husband is in ICU.
and keep you safely in His precious arms.
You are so sweet. I pray for YOU every day.

What a sweet post. You must have been a little cutie and quite precocious to catch that bee also pretty fast. Hope today is a good one.
Hi Debbie!
Thank you for the sweet comment this morning!
I may put some of the ostrich feathers in my etsy shop this week. They are fabulous. Even at 50% off they were a little pricey. Love your blog. Bumble bees and birds....ahhhh Spring!
Blessings~
Kim
Oh Debbie, I did the same thing with a honey bee when I was about 2, but I remember it. I learned real quick that you watch bees and don't hold them.
As you know, Korbi and Mrs M will be surrounded by people for only awhile, and then they will go back to their own worlds. Time will stand still for them as they grieve and most of it they will have to do on their own. Korbi is going to reach out for her so many times in the middle of night when no one is watching. It's going to take time and a lot of it. It's going to take the grace of God some days for them to just put one foot in front of the other. Some of their friends won't understand the moods and will stop coming by. Some won't know what to say, there is nothing to say and they won't know that, that just being there says everything. Some days they are just going to need their space so they can curl up in God's arms.
They will find that Leila dying wasn't the hard part, it's living without her.
You know all this...and you will be a comfort to them. Your lives will never be the same without Amy and Leila, but it's not supposed to be. Finding a way to go on and to enjoy life like they would want you to do is a long road. But it will come.
You are a testament to God's love and promises and your faith in Him.
God bless your heart, Debbie, just for being you.
Hugs and prayers- Tete
How cute that your name means "bee" and you collect them. My name means "earth" and I have long helped to conserve wildlife, and also to garden, two earth things.
Your bee your husband gave you is adorable.

Thanks for your very sweet comment on my blog tonight. Yes, this storm is surely headed your way, but right now it is stuck over Kansas and not going anywhere.
I was reading a bit on your blog. You have experienced a lot of pain and suffering this year (and last). I sincerely hope this is the end of the turmoil for awhile.
