Welcome to MONDAY MORNING.
I pray you had a BEAUTIFUL VALENTINE'S DAY!
ALL THAT LOVE, GLITTER, and HEARTS
DANCING AROUND EVERY WHERE!!!
YUMMY CHOCOLATES...
WHICH I RECEIVED NONE...
BUT WHAT I DID RECEIVE I WILL SHOW ON
PINK SATURDAY.
THIS IS
WALKER TALKER,
MY OFFICE ASSISTANT.
We have noticed he has a
"BIG"
PROBLEM!!!
Our baby of the family is addicted to
playing cards on line.
He is suppose to be filing.
The notebooks he is standing on is my
"DIRECTORY OF FRIENDS."
I write the blog name, YOUR e mail address, the
prayer list of people I HAVE been asked to pray for,
quotes, and things for sale in Etsy.
ANY THING I THINK IS SWEET...WINK...ABOUT
YOU, I write it down...
whether you have Children, Cats, a Garden, or
even an 'ole Hound...
whether you like the color Pink
or if you are buying a new Sink
My little books are important to me...
I know whether you live in the city, or
by the salty Sea.
OKAY! OKAY! I'LL STOP MY POEM and get back
to WALKER.
WALKER, YOU ARE GOING TO REHAB!!!!
REHAB???
"WHY?" I ASKED
HEY!! YOU OUT THERE IN
BLOG LAND....
DOESN'T YOUR CAT PLAY CARDS??
"I'M SORRY MAMA! I HAVE EVERY THING
FILED.
"OH WALKER!! YOU ARE MAMA'S
BABY, WHEN IT IS TIME TO EAT
BUT
WHEN IT COMES BED TIME....
YOU ARE DADDY'S BOY!!!
NO REHAB WALKER.
YOU'RE A GOOD BOY.
YOU'RE A WONDERFUL OFFICE ASSISTANT.
YOU MAKE ME WANT TO SING THE SONG....
JUST LOOK AT THAT FACE!!!!
AND KEEP YOU UNTIL WE BLOG AGAIN.
REMEMBER THOSE ON OUR PRAYER LIST.
PLEASE NOTE:
I HAVE REMOVED MY THREE QUESTIONS FROM
THIS POST IN ORDER FOR THIS TO BE A POSITIVE
POST.
I THANK MY 5 DARLING FRIENDS FOR THEIR RESPONSE
WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WHAT BROUGHT THE
QUESTIONS ON....AND THEY WERE POSITIVE
RESPONSES.
SPRING IS COMING!!!
MY PRECIOUS BELOVED JESUS, MY ONLY
DAUGHTER, LEILA, AND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
ARE WAITING FOR ME WHEN MY JOURNEY IS
OVER. WHAT A DAY OF REJOICING
THAT WILL BE.
WE TOOK KORBI TO SUPPER SATURDAY NIGHT
AND HE IS IN DEEP GRIEF. I DOUBT HE HAS
SLEPT SINCE LEILA HAS GONE HOME TO HEAVEN.
HE WENT BACK TO WORK MONDAY AND WE ARE
ALL SURE HE WENT BACK TOO SOON.
PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS.
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY TO SEE ME.
IT ALWAYS BRIGHTENS MY DAY
HAVE A SUGAR SWEET DAY.

Your little Walker is a sweetie and quite the Spider Solitaire player..lol...That part was really a cute post.
I hope the sadness you had to end with will be less as the days go on and you all can remember we are just occupying a temporary space and our day will come when we head home. You all are in my prayers.
Debbie- We have 4 cats- who take turns at the computer. Doofus is my biggest "help". He sits here on the corner of the desk and just watches me. Not the computer- me. He gets within an inch of my face and stares. Drives me crazy. Boofy gets up here looking for pringles. Daphne only bothers my DH. Mr Wiggles wants to cuddle.
I have had some that swatted everything on the screen or just wanted to type.
To answer your questions-
#1- no- just tell them you can't afford it- period.
#2- do not know what OWOH is. ???
#3- no, I do not blog for what people are giving away- I usually avoid leaving a comment if it is a give away.
We have all gotten one of those nasty comments or emails from some old cranky fart who has nothing better to do than try to take the wind out of our sails.
Ignore them- pray for the sender and blog on!
I would think Korbi might have wanted to wait another week or two, but guys grieve differently than we do. I imagine being in their home is miserable for him. Every where he looks, it's something that Leila did, or bought or decorated. Or what they did together there.
At work, she won't be all over the place like she is at home. He may just need a break from all the memories.
How do we get through things? We clean, wash walls, do laundry, redecorate- we WORK.
I think it's harder on men. We tend to leave our mark on everything in the home. He's in my prayers. It's going to be hard for him.
Hugs- Tete
So glad your kittie doesn't have to go to rehab! ;) LOL
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your lovely comments. If I can figure out a blog button I'll be sure to pass it along to you. (what an honor!)
And in answer to your questions:
1. No. there is no shame in not having money. We have more to giveaway then 'things'.
2. You most certainly don't have to be part of OWOH in order to win. last year I had two winners who were not giving away things as a part of that event.
3. I think some people do blog only for giveaways and for freebies. If that is what inspires them so be it. For me it's more about having a way to express myself in a form that I know at some point will connect with others...and even sometimes if it's just connecting better with myself. ;)
Blessings!
Walker just seems talented, sugar! ;-)
Answer to your 3 questions:
1. Absolutely NOT!! Why would someone want to do that?
2. Nope, I sure wouldn't. I've never done a OWOH because I have charities I fund each month through my church and I trust them to use it judiciously.
3. ABSOLUTELY NOT! When someone is having a giveaway and I'm one of their followers I leave a comment but tell them not to enter my name for the giveaway. I simply don't need any extra stuff in this house, but I do want to support other bloggers with a comment as much as I can. I simply can't get to everyone every single time, although, I love their blogs, sweetpea.
Take care, love,
xoxo,
Connie
Your cat is too funny! My son's pug chases Nascar cars on the screen.
I don't understand the 3 questions, but if anyone is being mean to you, send them to me and I will try to set them straight. Seems like some people just enjoy making others miserable!
Hugs to you.
Oh Debbie! What an ADORABLE post!! I am smiling ear to ear, and am ready to start my day now! Walker, play a few hands for me! I haven't had time to play in quite a while, but I do love the game!.. That and computer Scrabble!.. Debbie, I am so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I have been so busy trying to finish my Valentine gifts on time! All of them have been handed out now, with the exception of one I'll have to give next week. I had a nice dinner with the kids last night.. And now I just look forward to the week's winter vacation that Dear Son has next week! The free time will be nice.. Hope you had a wonderfully Happy Valentine's Day! Honestly, I didn't get any chocolates either, but I did get a very cute coffee mug!... As for those crochet hearts, I did not forget... Just am sorry to be so late to respond.. Email me your address, and I will mail you those crochet hearts. I came to find I have so many ALREADY from LAST year, that I never found a use for the new ones!.. sigh.. So I am only too happy to give them to you, if you would still like them! Maybe you can use them for next year? Let me know! ((hugs)) ~tina

Sure sweet Debbie, the picture is yours to put on your sidebar and link to her story. Prayers are so very appreciated. She is such a sweetheart!
Angel lives about two miles from me as the crow flies. That's about as close as neighbors get 'round here. I've known her since birth. She is in my Sunday School Class and in my Kid's Church.
God bless and have a beautiful day sweetie!
CAN'T SAY WE HAVE ANY ANIMALS HERE THAT LIKE TO PLAY ON THE COMPUTER - TEEHEE

Boo, hiss to whoever made you sad today. Big hugs and scratches under the chin to Walker for helping with your filing and THEN playing his cards. He is a sweetie and so are you. Ann
Hi Debbie ! oh girl you know there are all kinds of people in the world and it's the same in blog land. But I seem to attract the looney tunes too ... I just feel sorry for them and add them to my prayers. I'm sure they were abused as children :)
My kittehs always want to "help" me too. That's why it takes me so long to get things done...
