A Blessing A Long My Journey

There  are  times  a  long  my  journey,  I

am  caught  off  guard  and  it  is  so

humbling  when  somebody  does  something

nice  for  you  and  you  didn't  jump  through

hoops  to  deserve  it.

*******

I  know  it  is  just  a  simple  award,  that

a  lot  of  bloggers  won't  accept  because  of

lack  of  time,  work  schedule,  and/or

illness  in  the  family.

*******

The  main  reason  I  stopped  accepting

awards  on  There's  An  Angel  On  My

Front  Porch,  was  because  Amy  was

ill  at  the  time,  and  I  don't  want  to  leave

anyone  out  or  hurt  their  feelings.  That

truly  is  why  some  won't  accept  awards.

*******

Sweet  Precious  SABRE,  friend  of  mine

presented  me  with  this  lovely  award,

it  was  as  sweet  to  me,

 as  roses  on  a  vine

I  think  the  Lord  knew  I  needed   to  be

Blessed  today

So  He  sent  sweet  precious  Sabre  to

graciously  bring  an  award  my  way

Thank  You  Sabre,  for  being  so  kind

You  will  "Always"  be

a  dear  FRIEND  of  mine.

*******

The  instructions  were  to  name

7  things  about  myself  and  then

pass  it  a  long  to  7  other  bloggers.

Actually  this  one  is  kind  of  fun  if

every  one  played  a  long.  We  would

learn  so  much  about  each  other.

Here  goes:

1.  I  love  the  show,  "The  Amazing

Race."   Our  daughter  always

wanted  to  be  on  that  show  with

her  BFF, Leila.

2.  I   can  set  out  in  the  yard  and  eat

vine  ripe  tomatoes  all  day.

3.  I  love  fresh  sheets  on  my  bed...I  could

change  them  every  day

4.  When  I  was  a  Girl  Scout  Counselor,  we

found  a  baby  skunk  in  the  swimming  pool

drain  after  a  heavy  rain.  I  loved  him  for

9  days  until  I  took  him  home  and  my  Daddy

threw  a  fit.  I  had  to  get  rid  of  him  and  it

made  me  so  very  sad.

5.  I  was  a  twirler  when  I  was  young  and

traded  the  baton  for  a  rifle...I  was  in  the

Legionettes  Marching  Band  with  Color

Guard

6.  When  we  were  on  a  trip  once,  I  spoke

to  a  Hells  Angel  about  accepting  Christ

into  his  life.  He  was  broke  down  on  the

side  of  the  road  and  when  I  finished

talking  to  him,  it  was  like  something  in

the  movie...there  were  at  least  a  thousand

coming  down  the  road...Mr.  Simply  screamed

for  me  to  get  in  the  car..."NOW"

They  were  having  a  convention  at  Eureka

Springs,  Arkansas  and  we  were  stopped  1/2

mile  from  their  campground.

7.  I  had  a  Roman  Candle  blow  up  in  my

hand...I  could  not  hear  for  a  day  and  it

embedded  the  explosive  powder  in  my  hand

like  I  was  tattooed.

*******

7  BLOGGERS  CHOSEN  TO  PASS  THIS

AWARD  ON  TO:

1.  MISSISSIPPI  ARTIST

2.  MICHELLE

3.  REBECCA

4.  JANE

5.  DIANA

6.  KRISTIN

7.CHRIS

Chris  has  free graphics  on  her  blog.

and  keep  you  until  we  blog  again.

Have  A  Sugar  Sweet  Day

Well, you are my kinda gal...except I can't eat tomatoes..for me they are a night shade plant and make me very achy. But OH..how I love them on a warm summer day. Loved the Hell's Angels story..that is THE best ever!

Thank you so much for the award. I will have to wait until the first of the week to respond to it though because I am working and have company this weekend. Thanks again and I WILL do it! Hugs-Diana

Wow! I loved learning all these wonderful things about you. A skunk how cute! Oh my I can't imagine how neat it was to minister the hells angels guy. God is great and everyone deserves to hear about the grace and mercy Jesus has for us all. Good for you and keep on ministering to people that cross your path. I believe God protects us when we are in scary situations. Thank you for visiting me. Your kind words do my heart more good than you know!

I am laughing at some of the situations that you got yourself into. But not the one about the Roman candle - it must have burned and hurt alot.

Hi Debbie!

Yes, I'm totally willing to trade. I just need a week or two to unwind, destress, and clear my head. It's been a rough month!
