X0XO...AMY...XOXO
ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS
SOMETIMES WE ARE ON A DIRT
ROAD BUT IT IS "COMFORTABLE!"
THE SUN IS SHINING...
BEAUTIFUL WHITE PUFFY CLOUDS...
ALL SEEMS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD!
THEN YOU COME TO
"THE FORK IN THE ROAD!"
THEY BOTH LOOK INVITING...
NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE REALLY...
THE LEFT ROAD LOOKS LIKE IT
HAD THE MOST TO OFFER...THE RUTS
SHOW MORE PEOPLE TRAVELED IT
UP AND DOWN
UP AND DOWN
UP AND DOWN
THEN IT IS FIGHTING
UP HILL... "ALL THE WAY"
WITH AN OCCASIONAL
CURVE BALL...
THEN WHEN YOU THINK
YOU HAVE FINALLY
"MADE IT TO THE TOP"...
YOU FIND YOURSELF
"HUGGING THE CLIFF!"
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THERE???
I KNOW YOU HAVE!!!
I DON'T KNOW WHO I MAY BE
TALKING TO TODAY...
AND IT DOESN'T MATTER, AS
LONG AS "YOU KNOW,"
"YOU ARE NOT ALONE!"
HERE AT
SIMPLY DEBBIE
I PRAY THAT IT IS
GOD'S DESTINY
THAT DREW YOU HERE
TO MY BLOG
AND THAT YOU WILL
FIND INSPIRATION.
GOD NEVER PROMISED THAT
THERE WOULD NOT BE STORMS...
THAT OUR ROAD WOULD
NOT BE FULL OF RUTS, BUMPS,
BUCKETS AND BOULDERS...UPS
AND DOWNS
BUT THAT HE WOULD
ALWAYS BE THERE WITH US.
HE WANTS US TO TALK TO HIM...
TO PRAISE HIM AND MAKE A
JOYFUL NOISE.
THERE IS A RAINBOW WAITING
FOR YOU, MY FRIEND...EVEN THOUGH
RIGHT NOW IT SEEMS TO
BE YOUR DARKEST HOUR.
A TIME TO TALK
~ROBERT FROST
WHEN A FRIEND CALLS TO ME
FROM THE ROAD
AND SLOWS HIS HORSE TO
A MEANING WALK,
I DON'T STAND STILL AND
LOOK AROUND
ON THE HILLS I HAVEN'T HOED,
AND SHOUT FROM WHERE I AM,
WHAT IS IT?
NO, NOT AS THERE IS A TIME
TO TALK.
I THRUST MY HOE IN THE
MELLOW GROUND,
BLADE-END UP AND FIVE
FEET TALL,
AND PLOD; I GO UP TO
THE STONE WALL
FOR A FRIENDLY VISIT.
A FRIEND IS SOMEONE WHO
KNOWS THE SONG IN YOUR
HEART AND CAN SING IT BACK
TO YOU
WHEN YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN
THE WORDS.

"COME UNTO ME, ALL YE THAT
LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN,
AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST."

Debbie...these are mighty words and words that inspire....thank you.
I consider it such a privilege to be able to talk to my GOD each day..thank HIM for the blessings in my life....and asking HIM to grant the needs we have that are important to my family. ~ACCORDING TO HIS WILL.
KNOWING HE is there for me... no matter the time of day.
Seems like HE would need to rest..but apparently not. TOO MUCH TO take under consideration from us ...HIS beloved.

This is a beautiful post, Debbie, and a perfect message as I drink my first cup a coffee for the morning, and prepare for the rest of my day! Hope you're enjoying this beautiful summer day too! ((hugs)) ~tina
Thank you for the reminder of God's faithfulness!! I have been feeling a little blue, and instead of talking to my Abba about it, I've just kind of been feeling sorry for myself!!!
Yep, time to talk!!!!
Thanks, Debbie! This is a nice way to start the day! :-)
XO,
Sheila

What a wonderful and true post Debbie! Yesterday was a HARD,HARD day for me as my son left our home for the Army. I am praying for the strength to get through it:)
I always feel better after reading one of your posts, Debbie, even if I didn't know I was kind of down -- you seem to be able to tell when people are hurting and offer your cup of kindness so generously - thank you --
This is an Amazing post and the photos are very appropriate. My sister is on a difficult journey and I will print this and mail it to her. I took her to Church w/me for the first time in a very long time. She went to the alther and cried. I'm praying that she will soon find rest in Jesus and turn "it" all over to him.
Love you and just stopped by to say Happy Thursday!
Love and prayers

Debbie, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your sweet comments. I am so so sorry for your loss of your daughter so young. Our precious Scott was born just 3 days after your sweet Amy and we about lost him at birth. he had surgery within the first hours of life. He was born at 7 months as was his oldest brother.
I do not understand Heavenly Father's plan for each of us but know he has one and is in charge.
Your beautiful words touched my heart and it is so true of life.
I pray you can continue to feel the sunshine on your face and the love that Heavenly Father wants you to feel.
Thanks again for your visit and I want to wish you a fun and safe 4th of July! ~♥
Hi Debbie,
All of this is SO true!
Thanks so much for coming to my blog! I am having a linky party next week...I hope you'll come on over and read about it...nothing to make for this one! Just take a pic!
It's about where our spiritual place is.
Hugs,
Cindy
