SOME DAYS ARE LIKE DIAMONDS...RUSH!!!

XOXOXO...AMY...XOXOXO
ALWAYS  IN  OUR  HEARTS

TODAY  IS  A  VERY  EXCITING  DAY.

KAREN  AT

HAS  CREATED  THE

"BLOGGERETTE  SORORITY!"

TODAY  IS  RUSH  DAY,  JUST  LIKE  ALL

SORORITIES  HAVE.

THIS  SORORITY  IS  OPEN  TO  ANY  ONE

WHO  WANTS  TO  HAVE  FUN  AND

DEVELOP  FRIENDSHIPS  ALL  OVER

THE  WORLD.

I  THOUGHT  ABOUT  IT  FOR  SOME  TIME

AND  I  DECIDED  AT  5:25 PM  ON  THURSDAY...

(((YESTERDAY)))  AND  WE  WERE  TO  HAVE  A

PROJECT  READY  FOR  TODAY  FOR  RUSH.

KAREN  GAVE  US  A  BEAUTIFUL  SEPIA

PICTURE  TO  CREATE  SOME  THING  THAT

REFLECTED  THE

SISTER  IN  BLOGGERETTE  SORORITY,

AND  INCLUDE  A  PICTURE  OF

YOURSELF.

I  HAVE  A  WOODEN  CIGAR  BOX  THAT

I  WOULD  HAVE  LOVED  TO  HAVE  MADE

A  MEMORY  BOX  FROM  BUT  THAT  WOULD

TAKE  ME  TOO  LONG......

PUT  ON  MY  THINKING  CAP  AND  TRY

TO  DECIDE  WHAT  TO  DO.

THERE  WAS  A  DAY  I  SENT  MY  DH

TO  THE  STORE  TO  BUY  ME  SOME

LITTLE  NOTEBOOKS.

THE  FRONT  PAGE  IS  A  PLASTIC

COVERING.

I  LOVE  TO  KEEP  NOTEBOOKS  IN

MY  PURSE  AND  BY  THE  COMPUTER.

IF  I  SEE  A  QUOTE  OR  SCRIPTURE

THAT  I  LOVE,  I  WILL  JOT  IT  DOWN.

HERE  THE  PLASTIC  IS  OPEN  AND

YOU  CAN  SEE  THE  CREATED  PAGE.

I  USED  SCRAPBOOK  PAPER  FOR  THE

BACK  GROUND.

I  AM  A  VERY  FROU  FROU  LADY.  I

LOVE  LOTS  OF  GLITTER  ON  EVERY

THING...AND  I  LOVE  TULLE, RIBBONS,

AND  LACE.  JUST  TO  LOOK  AT  RIBBONS

MAKES  ME  SMILE.

IT  IS  HARD  TO  SEE  IN  THE  PICTURES

BUT  ON  THE  WIRE  SPIRAL  I  HAVE  TIED

MINT  GREEN  TULLE,  EVERY  OTHER  ONE

AND  THEN  A  STUNNING  SOFT  PINK  RIBBON

THAT  HAS  ROSES.

THERE  ARE  VELVET  FLOWERS  WITH  A

SPARKLY  PINK  STONE  IN  THE  CENTER.

THIS  LADIES,  WOULD  MAKE  A  WONDERFUL

GIFT  AND  YOU  HAVE  SPENT  VERY  LITTLE

MONEY  AND  EVERY  ONE  CAN  USE  A

NOTEBOOK.

ON  THE  BACK  OF  THE  NOTEBOOK

IS  MY  PICTURE.  I  HAVE  LOST  32

POUNDS  SINCE  THIS  PICTURE  AS

MY  THYROID  MED  WAS  TOO  HIGH

A  DOSE.  THE  SIDE  AFFECT  OF  THIS

IS  I  HAVE  LOST  LOTS  AND  LOTS  OF

HAIR.  IF  I  HAD  NOT  HAD  A  LOT  OF

HAIR  TO  START  WITH  I  WOULD  BE

TOTALLY  BALD  AND  I  AM  ON  THE

TOP  OF  MY  HEAD.  MY  DR.  SAID

STRESS  HAD  A  LOT  TO  DO  WITH  IT.

THIS  IS  THE  NOTEBOOK  OPEN

WHERE  YOU  CAN  SEE  THE  FRONT

AND  BACK.

THANK  YOU  FOR  ALLOWING  ME

TO  PARTICIPATE  IN  THIS  RUSH.

IT  HAS  BEEN  SO  MUCH  FUN.

I  LOOK  FORWARD  TO  MEETING

ALL  137  PLUS  MEMBERS.

THANK  YOU  FOR  JOINING  GRACIE

ANN  AND  ME  TODAY.

I  SO  LOOK  FORWARD  TO  YOUR

VISITS.

I  HOPE  YOU  ENJOYED  MY

LITTLE  PROJECT.

HUGS  AND  BLESSINGS

Debbie, I think you did a wonderful job with your notebook, and it is so clever! Everyone I've seen so far has done something different, and I'm enjoying seeing what all of you are doing. I didn't rush because I'm not very crafty. Maybe I can try to do something in the future.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hello Sista! Just love your notebook and I'm alot like you when it comes to writing things down. I believe it helps my stress because once I make a note of something, I don't worry about it anymore because I know where to look to remind myself. With all the pretty ribbon/tulle on your notebook, it will be easy to retrieve out of your bag as well ;) Have a great day and looking forward to seeing you around the HOUSE! Fondly, Roberta

What a cute notebook. I take thyroid meds, too. I'm hypothyroid. Without them I couldn't hardly move, and I'd weight a ton. Nice to meet you, Sister.

I enjoyed reading this Debbie, But it was to complicated for me to do, I can barely blog, especially since blogger is changing everything. LOL I guess I need to get in there and learn how to do this though.

I really like your new layout.

I read where you are mourning the loss of your daughter & so please don't even try to comment in return to this post. Just wanted to let you know I was here.
