Happy Pink Saturday.
Thank you for visiting my blog and welcoming me. I read your post about lessons in hatching of a chick. I needed to hear that this morning.
Your butterfly is beautiful and I can tell all the love surrounding it - from her to you and from you for her forever.

What a beautiful card, and what precious memories are attached to it. As a mom to a 20 year old daughter, I KNOW how much your daughter meant to you (still means to you) and how very much you miss her, perhaps like a part of yourself has died.

Praying for God's comfort and peace to sustain you.

Love,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

I know you will treasure that beautiful butterfly card from Amy forever! I would!!!

Yes, I was going to join the Bloggerette Soroity Sisters, but time ran away from me and I couldn't make the RUSH project, so I asked her to take me off the list. I can barely keep up with my blogging friends as it is, so I think I'll be ok. I like visiting and commenting on people's blogs, but lately I've been having crochet assignments to finish so that I have not had all day for being on the computer like I used to.
Thanks for visiting me and society or not, we can still remain friends ;-)
Have a lovely weekend and happy pink Saturday :-)

What a beautiful card! Butterfly's are my weakness and this one is gorgeous. What sweet thoughts she must have been thinking in picking this card for you. You gave her wings when she was young and she returned the favor. Sending you big hugs Beth

Butterflies are my very favorite. You were blessed with an incredible daughter and I know Amy is smiling from above. That little card is worth more than all the riches anyone could give you in a lifetime. Blessings to you! Hugs Anne

Dear Debbie, Very sweet post. God bless and comfort you.

Debbie, thank you for the prayers...I so appreciate this. My consult appointment has been moved to July 2nd...I was ignorant and thought the biopsy would happen on August 18th. After the consult on July 2nd, we'll see what the doc says...I wasn't told one way or the other about the 18th and I just thought that was the time for the biopsy. Why the nurse didn't tell me otherwise, I don't know.

The picture of the watermelon lady was found on the internet and I don't know who painted her, but I liked her!

God bless and may you have a super summer.

Happy Pink Saturday to you Debbie, Every memory, everything touched by the hands of the one you're missing holds something so dear and wonderful, a treasure sent directly to your heart. Sometimes I close my eyes and inhale the memories as to live them again.
People who have never grieved to this depth do not understand how it can be so and often find safe little ways to tell you that you may not be on the right "track"
It's ok, forgive them, you loved deeply and you will grieve deeply and only you and your Lord will know as you move from one place to the next place in this journey. You are not alone my dear sister and I too am thankful to have met you.
All my Love Meg

What a beautiful card from your daughter! I know you don't need "things" to remember her by, but I'm sure you treasure it because she touched it, picked it out, and wrote it to you.
It's my very first Pink Saturday, and it's very nice to meet you!

Happy Pink Saturday Debbie! It's hard to realize just how much we take for granted, like a card, when are children are not longer with us. Thanks for reminding us all to take the time to appreciate everything that we have now in our lives. Fondly, Roberta

Debbie,
I know how much you treasure the card and it is beautiful! I look at things daily that Amber gave me and all the cards she signed. I would not take anything for them. Amber loved butterflies and we have a butterfly on her headstone. I am sure she and Amy are friends in Heaven. I think of you daily and I know how you feel. Nothing can be so heartbreaking than the loss of a child. It has been 11 months since Amber went to Heaven and I miss her so much!
My thoughts and prayers are with you always!
