SOME THINGS ON MY HEART AND A RAVEN...

This  month  of  February  is  National

Heart  month  for  WOMEN.

All  the  Doctors  will  tell  you,  that  women

have  different  symptoms  from  men,  when

they  are  having  a  heart  attack,  but  they

just  overlook  them  as  complaints  of  no

importance.

Having  been  a  nurse  for  22  plus  years,

before  my  health  grounded  me,  I  have

long  said  you  have  to  be  your  own  advocate

and  if  you  are  not  getting  answers,  ask,

to  be  sent  to  another  Dr.  for  a  second

opinion.

This  is  one  of  my  favorite  Valentines.

I  have  permission  to  show  you  these

pictures.   I  have  shown  this  one

before.

I  thought  it  sort  of  looked  a  little

like  Mardi  Gras.   I  have  never  been  to

Mardi  Gras  and  would  love  some  of  their

beads  but  excuse  me,  I  don't  want  to  be

around  drunk  people  and  women  exposing

themselves...do  they  not  have  any  self-

respect.

Please  don't  send  me  nasty  mail...THAT,

I  SAID,  IS  WHY  I  HAVE  NEVER  BEEN.

I  would  love  seeing  the  floats  and  the

happy  celebration  but  you  don't  need  to

do  the  other  just  to  be  joyous.

THE  SUPERBOWL...

BROTHER  AGAINST  BROTHER

MOTHER  AND  DAD  WILL  HAVE  A

WINNER  AND  A  LOSER.

I  love  football,  basketball,  soccer,  golf,

and  all  the  olympics,  both  summer  and  winter.

Bowling,  tennis...kinda  boring  to  watch.

Just  last  night  a  young  man  who  jumped

with  his  snowmobile...they  call  it  a  sled...

died  after  being  injured  a  few  evenings

ago...in  rewatching  the  jump,  it  looked

like  the  sled  came  down  on  his chest...

but  he  had  bleeding  around  his  heart

and  brain.   His  brother  is  in  the  hospital

with  a  broken  pelvis.

These  sleds  they  call  them  weigh  about

400  pounds  and  they  are  as  high  in  the  air

as  the  jumper  who  is  flipping.

Please  join  me  in  prayer  for  the  5  year

old  boy  who  is  being  held  hostage  in

Alabama.   He  is  in  an  underground

bunker  with  a  Survivalist  who  shot  and

killed  the  bus  driver...and  then

took  this  little  boy,  who  has  health

issues.(It  is  in  its'  5th  day)

His  parents,  the  little  boy,  and  the

bus  driver's  family.   The  community,  also

  lost  out  as  the  bus  driver  also  taught

Sunday  School  and  not  many  people  are

standing  in  line  to  teach  sunday  school.

The  young  mother  of  two  sons,  who

went  on  a  lifetime  trip  to  Turkey,  was  to

come  home  last  Monday  and  did  not  get 

off  the  plane  for  her  dad  to  pick  her  up.

Her  husband  and  brother  went  to  Turkey

to  look  for  her  and  the  Turkish  police

found  her  stabbed  to  death Saturday...her  boys

know  nothing  until  their  dad  and  uncle

arrive  back  home  to  tell  them.

A  beautiful  15  year  old  girl  who  collasped

after  playing  basketball  and  the  Drs.  say  she

is  brain  dead...in  Oklahoma  city.

They  were   doing  cpr  on  her  after  she

collasped.  This    mother  is  beside  herself.

President  and  Mrs.  Bush...Barney, their

pet  Dog  died...he  was  12  years  old and

had  Lymphoma.

I  have  a  lot  of  fun  things

to  post  this  month,  I  just  can't  post

on  them  yet....lots  of  secrets.

"Come  unto  me,  all,  ye,  that  labor

and  are  heavy  laden,  and  I   will  give

you  rest."
