MY FIRST POST OF 2012 and a JANINE GIVE AWAY

Please let me know if this is your art work  and  I will gladly  give you credit.

I  can  hardly  believe  it  is  already  2012.

When  I  graduated  from  high  school  in  1973,  the  thought

of  2012  seemed  "space  age"  to  me...like

GEORGE  JETSON.

I  loved  that  show.

I  wanted  to  welcome  my  new  friends  to

SIMPLY  DEBBIE

and  to  take  the  time  to

THANK  YOU,

for  being  such  faithful  followers.

YOU  ARE  SOOO SPECIAL.

I  look  forward  to  what  2012  holds  for

each  one  of  us.   I  am  going  to  "TRY"  to

be  a  more  "faithful  blogger."

The  weather  in  my  part  of

Oklahoma

has  been

GORGEOUS...

SUNNY...

WARM...

54-71  DEGREES  and

freezing  at  night.  I  could  live  with

weather  like  this.

THANK  YOU  SWEET  JESUS  for  such

gorgeous  weather.

I  have  been  very  busy  getting  my  art  studio  up

and  workable...but  taking  breaks  and  doing  lots

of  art.   I  found  a  huge  cork  board  for  .99  cents.

It  is  like  brand  new.  I  have  taken  a  before  picture

which  I  will  post  when  I  get  it  all  Simply  Debbie

Frou-Frou.

I  will  be  soooo  very  happy  when  I  get  my  art  studio

done.   I  will  take  a  picture  of  the  space  I  work  in

now  and  it  is  questionable  how  I  am  able  to  do

anything....lol

My  mother-in-love  Irene  is  home  from  the  hospital.

They  have  a  hospital  bed  in  the  living  room.

Nancy  gives  her  tube  feedings  and  medications  per

feeding  tube.

Please  pray  for  Irene,  Nancy,  and  AJ.

You  just  cannot  put  a  price  tag  on  your  health.

Also,  please  pray  for  me.  I  am  a  very  brittle  diabetic

and  I  am  on  the  borderline  for  dialysis.  I  don't  want

to  do  dialysis.

I  decided  I  needed  a  new  look  and  I  had  my

hair  cut  real  short  and  frosted.   It  is  about  like

the  Twiggy  cut.  My  husband  said,  "You  look

SASSY  and  young!"  Thank  you  honey.  That  was

very  sweet.

How  short  have  you  ever  worn  your  hair?

I  found  this  pretty  shoe  on  line.

It  is  a  Jimmy  Choo  Design.

COST:  $1,995.00.

Marlene  feather  and  seude  sandal.

How  much  have  you  ever  paid  for  a  pair  of

shoes  and  was  it  worth  it...if  you  want  to  share.

I  like  shoes  that  are  unique.   I  can't  ever

imagine  paying  that  for  a  shoe.   I  will

watch  the  thrift  stores  for  a  similar  seude  shoe  and

work  with  peacock  feathers.   I  will  take  before  and

after  pictures.

It  would  be  fun  to  have  a  shoe  decorating  party

and  include  a  picture  of  you  wearing  them  in

public...what  fun.

Well  you  can  see  a  little  bit  of  what  I  have

been  up  to  and  where  I  am  going.

What  are  you  up  to  this  new  2012?

My  friend,  Janine  is  having  an  awesome  give  away.

Janine  is  a  gifted  artist  who  lives  in  Germany.

This  give  away  is  for  reaching  a  150  followers.

CONGRATULATIONS  JANINE.

Janine  has  created  a  beautiful  folk  art  box  and  then

filled  it  with  oil  crayons.

The  drawing  will  be  January  29,  2012.

Please  stop  by  and  visit  her.  You  will  be  blessed  by

her  art  work...which  is  for  sale...should  you  be  in  need

of  some  art  work...I'm  just  saying...lol

PLEASE  LET  ME  KNOW  IF  YOU  HAVE  ANY

PRAYER  REQUESTS.

But  even  the  very  hairs  of  your  head  are  all

numbered.  Fear  not  therefore,  ye  are  of  more

value  than  many  sparrows.

Must be something in the air - I just got my hair cut too, alittle longer than say a pixie would wear it. Kind of wispy, but great for fine hair like I have. Bet yours looks adorable!

I am praying for you mil and the rest of the family. It is hard to be ill and live any semblance of a normal life. I am also praying that your health stablizes and you don't have to have further treatment!

Praying for you and Irene. Hope things work out for you and you don't have to do that.
My hair is shoulder length in the winter, but I have had it very short and I find the shorter it is the sassier it feels. You do look younger and its easier to care for.

Hi Debbie it is so nice to get back to a normal routine. So sorry to hear about the diabetic situation. I am working hard to learn to live with mine. You sound pretty spiffy though. That is because you got guts gal. I only wear my diabetic shoes now, which are darling like sneakers even when I am out for something special. The days of being a fashion plate are over. I am going over to visit your friend and tell her you sent me. Blessings dear sista.

I am not brave enough yet to have my hair that short. Last year I had it cut real short. But I am needing a new look and am going to get a cut this coming weekend. Prayers for you Debbie. The weather is crazy isn't it. Too warm here for this time of year. Take care sweetie. By the way you and I grad the same year.

Praying for your health and the patience and peace it takes to walk through diabetes. Iam not a shoe person so never paid too much. But oh how purses call my name. Thank God for TJ Max and Ross to feed my yearning at a reasonable price.
