I have wanted for a long time to redo my living room/dining
room combination.
I have finally picked out my fabrics. I will also be changing
the curtains in my kitchen. You can see the kitchen from the
dining room table.
I will show before and after pictures.
I want to thank all my blogging friends that have
stood beside me during these last two years.
It was sooooo very difficult to accept Amy's death.
I was up...I was down...I wanted to go to her grave
and then I didn't want to go at all. I talk to
her all the time and I didn't want to go to a cold
grave to talk to her, when I am surrounded by her
memories here.
My son and d-i-l moved to a different state.
There was a major change in my family dynamics
and for a while I felt as if I was a lady without
an island...
I learned a lot...
LIFE LESSONS...
FAITH...
PRAYERS...
TEARS...
When Richard and I went to Aunt Jeanne and
Dr. Mikes' for Thanksgiving she sent me home
with 4 borrowed books by one of my favorite
authors...
MAX LUCADO.
THE CHRISTMAS CROSS
was my favorite.
I have put it on my Christmas Wish List.
I have read it three times.
When I told her how I had read children books
to Amy all of her 33 years on earth...Aunt Jeanne
smiled...kindred spirits. I read to Richie through
grade school and then my little man read to himself.
He was busy with soccer and drama/speech.
The other three books by
MAX LUCADO
are for children.
BECAUSE I LOVE YOU
YOU ARE SPECIAL
and this was my favorite children's book
THE OAK INSIDE THE ACORN
I PRAY GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOU.
YOU ARE SOOO VERY SPECIAL.
HAVE A WONDERFUL AFTERNOON
AND
LOOK FOR THE SIMPLE SURPRISES IN YOUR
DAY.

Dear Debbie ... you keep me humble. Praying for traveling mercies and I know you will BE a blessing where ever you go and praying you will receive blessings too.
