for all of THE PRAYERS and
ENCOURAGEMENT OFFERED UP FOR
MY SON RICHIE'S, KNEE SURGERY.
I have to tell you I had to do some big
talking to Jesus. Richie's surgery was one they do
thousands of and it was out patient. I think,
I feel, that when you have a child in heaven, you
know how precious life is and I kept telling my son
it would be okay but even HE KNEW, I was trying
to convince myself.
PRAISE THE LORD, with just your usual
recovery pain, he was blessed and the surgery
went fine. He has 3 places that he will have to have
7 stitches taken out in 7-10 days.

TORNADOES.
JAPAN
IT IS HURRICANE SEASON NOW AND LET'S
PRAY NO LIVES OR PROPERTY WILL BE
LOST...THAT GLORY TO GOD THEY WILL
FIZZLE OUT BEFORE REACHING LAND.
If someone you have requested prayer for, it
is an encouragement to others to share how your
loved one or friend is doing, or if they still need
prayer.
My 6ft. baby boy and my honey buns. He is
pretending to squeeze our son's knee.
He will always be my Richie.
Amy and I always called him Richie.
Most people call him Rich.
For the first 48 hours he had to have this
polar express to his knee...you add ice to this
ice chest type thing...plug it in and it is like a
continous ice pack.
Richie did very well until the day came to
remove his bandage...his knee was quite
swollen and that made him nauseated.
Most of the major swelling was gone in 24 hours.
My husband and I had a wonderful time
visiting with our son and dil, Megan. She was
a good little nurse to Richie. They are a neat
couple.
There are some posts to come of some pictures
we took while visiting.

Debbie- You just have so much good in you-an angel here really- always thinking about and praying for others. I think about your child that is in Heaven and know, too, that heartache with a grandchild. I am extra protective of those that are here with us and am like a Mother Duck when they are present.
I am sending up prayers for all those you requessted prayers for...I see so many illnesses every day at the hospital and when the patient leaves my office I offer up a prayer for their health and recovery.
I am so glad that Richie is doing so well after his surgery..maybe it was his Dad's "squeeze" that got him healing!;>)
We, that are healthy, are so blessed. Thanks for this wonderful post. xxoo Diana
ps. Glad you are back safe and sound!
How grand that Richie is doing well. I am praying for all the folks who requested prayer here. That is kind of you to offer this opportunity.
Debbie- so many with cancer and going through some of the hardest time in their lives. The tornadoes have been so deadly this spring and so much has been lost.
So glad to hear that Richie is doing so well! My oldest tore his ACL in high school and had surgery, they kept him one night. It was quite painful, but we had a sports doctor and they did almost all of the pt before surgery so when he was done he only had 2 weeks of pt and off the crutches and back to normal.
Hope Richie continues to heal and that his pain levels stay down as he rehabs!
How are you doing? I am having good days and pt is the biggest thing to change my life in years.
Hugs- Tete
