AND FOR OUR NEIGHBORS IN JOPLIN,
MISSOURI, WHO ARE RECOVERING FROM
THE TORNADO THAT MADE ITS' WAY
ACROSS JOPLIN, SUNDAY EVENING.
THE HIGH SCHOOL WAS ALMOST DESTROYED,
WHERE IT WAS REPORTED, THEY WERE HAVING
SENIOR GRADUATION.
ST. JOHN'S HOSPITAL TOOK A DIRECT HIT,
BLOWING OUT WINDOWS AND TAKING OFF
MOST OF THE ROOF.
ALL THE PATIENTS HAD TO BE MOVED TO
DIFFERENT HOSPITALS.
A TORNADO OF COURSE DOES NOT PLAY
FAIR BUT TO HIT A HOSPITAL, A CHURCH FULL
OF PEOPLE, A SCHOOL, A DAY CARE CENTER,
A WAL MART FULL OF PEOPLE, OR
NURSING HOME IS HITTING BELOW THE BELT.
IN JOPLIN CHURCHES, A HIGH SCHOOL FULL
OF PEOPLE, A NURSING HOME, AND A WAL MART
SUPER CENTER WAS LEVELED.
89 PRECIOUS SOULS CONFIRMED DEAD AND
THEY EXPECT THAT TO RISE AS THERE ARE
MANY AREAS THEY CANNOT ENTER FOR GAS
LEAKS.
THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OF ALL JOPLIN'S
UTILITIES, FIRE DEPARTMENTS, AMBULANCES,
ETC. JUST CONCLUDED A NEWS CONFERENCE
AND SAID APPROXIMATELY 30% IS EITHER
PARTIALLY OR COMPLETELY DESTROYED.
EARLIER REPORTS ON VARIOUS NEWS STATIONS
REPORTED 75% OF JOPLIN WAS DESTROYED.
PRAISE THE LORD 75% WAS NOT DESTROYED BUT
FAR TOO MANY LIVES WERE LOST...BUT THE
TORNADO HIT AT A VERY BUSY TIME.
IN JOPLIN, MISSOURI.
MY GREATEST PRAYER IS THAT EACH NEED
IS MET AND MAY YOU KNOW, FEEL, AND
EXPERIENCE THE LOVE OF JESUS THROUGH
THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS.
MAY YOU FIND COMFORT AND PEACE.
MAY THE LIVES OF THOSE TRAPPED IN
THE WRECKAGE BE FOUND ALIVE AND LORD
KEEP EACH RESCUE WORKER SAFE.
I WILL PRAISE YOUR NAME LORD FOR
YOU ARE WORTHY TO BE PRAISED.
YOU ARE A GOD OF MIRACLES ...
YOU ARE A HEALING JESUS...
AND I WILL RUN TO YOU LORD,
DURING THE STORM.
MANY, MANY HUGS

AMEN...
We have been watching since this happened last night. It was a large tornado, and God's hand was in it. We just have to trust that there was a reason and that the ones who were called home were ready to meet Christ.
Bless you girl for all your prayers.
Hugs- Tete
It is so sad to see the devastation. This has been a horrible year and goes into the record books as the year of the tornado. They have shown their force this year. Prayers for these people.
Adding my prayers, Debbie. Joplin has been in the center of my prayers today. Take good care of yourself!
Debbie- What a beautiful and heartfelt message. My heart aches for those families and the whole community. You wonder how they will ever begin to replace that which is lost. Especially the lives that were torn apart as they suffered family losses. God bless them and YOU for putting this message out there. xxoo Diana
Hi Debbie *hugs*
Another weather disaster. My heart goes out to all of those people who are left homeless and those left helpless. It did happen at such a busy time. I hope they can sort their lives and live in peace once again before too much time....
they are certainly on our minds and our prayers.
