STEAM PUNK ATC

This  is  the  beautiful  card  my  ATC

Partner  sent  me  this  month  to  thank  me  for

being  her  ATC  Partner.  I  was  thrilled  to  be

her  partner.

THANK  YOU  BLANCHE!!!!
*******

I  participate  in  the  monthly

BLISSFULL  ATC  SWAP.

Ms.  Wendy  at

is  our  beautiful  hostess  and  creator.

If  you  would  like  to  participate  you  may

e  mail  her  at

Each  month  is  a  different  theme  and  a

different  swap  partner.

*******

The  Theme  this  month  is

STEAM  PUNK.

You  can  bet  Google  had  a  flurry  of

activity  for  information  and  images  on

STEAM  PUNK.

*******

My  ATC  Partner  this  month  is  the

lovely  Ms.  Blanche.

She  is  just  one  of  the  sweetest  ladies  you

will  ever  meet  and  oozes  in  creativity.

She  loves  the  Victorian  Era  as  much  as  I  do.

Her  blog  is

She  makes  beautiful  jewelry...much  of  which  is

auctioned  off  for  worthy  causes.

This  is  her  stunning  Steam  Punk

ATC  titled

WANDER-LUST!

I  had  never  heard  that  word  before.

You  can  read  the  the  definition  on  the  card.

I  LIKE  IT....

wander-lust
wander-lust
wander-lust
wander-lust

Thank  You  Ms.  Blanche!!!

I  will  treasure  it  forever.

Blanche  included  a  list  of  every  thing

she  used  to  make  her  card  but  I  did  not

list  them.

THANK  YOU  SO  VERY  MUCH  BLANCHE

FOR  BEING  MY  ATC  PARTNER  AND  FOR

THIS  BEAUTIFUL  LITTLE  CHARM.

I  will  see  you  in  Washington.....

Thanks  to  Google  Maps...

Thank  you  for  asking  me  to  travel  a long

with  you  and  your  husband.

I  will  continue  to  pray  for  a  safe  and

joyful  trip.

This  is  the  thank  you  card  I  made  for

Blanche.

I  wanted  to  make  her  something  special  for

being  my  ATC  partner  this  month.

On the  side  bar  of  her  blog,  it  tells  the

name  of  her  fairy:

"FIELD  WILLOWGLITTER!"

She  lives  in  fields  where  wild  flowers

and  poppies  grow.

She  is  seen  only  in  the  light  of  a

shooting  star.

She  likes  to  wear  red  petals  in  her

skirt.

She  has  delicate  green  colored  wings.

I  tried  to  recreate  her  using  this  beautiful

graphic.   Then  I  cut  and  pasted  poppies

all  around  the  image....I  tried  to  make  it

like  you  were  peaking  through  the  field  of

poppies  and  wildflowers  and  up  in  the  left

corner  I  made  a  shooting  star  out  of

Fairy  Dust.

I  made  a  pocket  for  the  ATC.  I  made

accordion  pleats  on  the  side  to  allow  room

for  the  gadgets  I  applied  on  the  ATC.

I  used  various  parts  of  a  pocket  watch

I  had  been  saving.

I  named  my  ATC:

"THE  WHEELS  OF  TIME!"

Can  you  imagine  riding  this  to  the

grocery  store  or  thrift  shop....lol

This  is  just  a  close  up  of  the  ATC

holder  without  the  card  in  it.

Thank  you  for  spending  a  part  of  your

Saturday  with  me.  It  makes  me  so  happy  that  you

care  enough  to  stop  by.   YOU  ARE  SPECIAL.

I  went  to  the  Dr.  for  my  three  month  check  up

on  Thursday.   I  have  had  a  severe  cough  due  to

ALLERGIES....(LIKE  EVERY  ONE  ELSE)...

and  since  I  am  one  of  his  fragile  diabetics,

I  was  given  an  injection  of  prednisone...oh

my  goodness,  even  given  slow,  it  BURNS  like

frog  legs  in  a  skillet...ouchhhhh.

PRAYERS  CONTINUE  TO  BE  LIFTED  UP

TO  GOD'S  THRONE  ROOM  OF  MERCY  AND

GRACE  FOR  EVERYONE  IN  NEED.

*******

THE  LORD  HATH  HEARD  MY  SUPPLICATION,

THE  LORD  WILL  RECEIVE  MY  PRAYER.

Oh my word.. I love ALL the cards shown here Debbie! Loved your little fairy card! I had a tough time with Steampunk this round, but I survived it, and just hope my swap partner likes it. I am just about finished with my Wizard of Oz minialbum (I keep adding little touches), so the next step is to try the video feature on my camera; and THEN I'm also starting some Spring TP Roll mini-albums, for the holiday and for a swap I'm in. Busy, all-in-all, but lots of fun! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! ((hugs)) ~tina

Debbie,
Both of you all did an outstanding job with all the cards! I had never done anything steam punk before this swap...it was sure fun. I think the possibilities are just endless aren't they?
Again, great job!
Have a great weekend.

HI DEBBIE, I LIKED DOING THE STEAM PUNK CARD ALSO. IT WAS A BRAND NEW TERM TO ME, BUT YOU ARE RIGHT, PLENTY ABOUT IT ON THE WEB. SO PRETTY NEAT ONES YOU HAVE HERE. BLANCHE WAS MY SWAP PARTNER ONCE. SHE IS VERY CREATIVE.

Hello Debbie, Your cards are so pretty! You had asked about my weeping cherry tree, no it does not bear fruit. Most people keep the cut like an umbrella, mine needs trimming up. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment.
I wish you peace! Shirl

Very cool cards, especially the old fashioned couple and bicycle. I just don't have that type of creativity to even begin making something so special!

I hope the cortisone shot gets you over the hump. When I've had them in the past they've certainly helped me. I'm on prednisone (oral) right now--currently tapered down to a low dose which I'll be on for another couple of months.

Hugs from Heidi

Oh Debbie, so many lovely cards. The work is just beautiful.
Thank you for visiting me today. It's a shame what happened to the Pastor. People can be so terrible and the things they think of to make money just makes my head spin. It happens all over the world, all the insurance scams. I don't know why humanity has to become like this. I am afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better. Tough times ahead for all. You have to be very careful when you go anywhere, watch what is around you and be aware. Mexico has so many beautiful and wonderful, friendly people, just like the states, but also just like the states, there are some rotten apples.
It's been a long time since I last visited you. There is no reason other than keeping busy with family and website.
I hope you and your family are well. I think of you often and wonder how your hearts are doing. Be well sweet one and keep up the great work. You are an inspiration to us all, Char
