THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS AND AN ANGEL FROM FRANCIE

XOXOXOXOXOXO...AMY...XOXOXOXOXOXO
WE  DIDN'T  FORGET  YOUR  PLAIN  M&M'S  AMY
YOU  ARE  ALWAYS  IN  OUR  HEARTS  AND  WILL
ALWAYS  BE  REMEMBERED  AND  LOVED  DEEPLY
MOTHER  AND  DADDY

MERRY  CHRISTMAS

EVERYONE.

EVERY  YEAR  FOR  CHRISTMAS

AT  THE  RAGAN  HOUSE,

GRANDPA  RAGAN  WOULD

GIVE  EACH  GRANDCHILD

A  BAG  OF  PEANUT  M&M'S.

THE  TRADITION  WAS

CARRIED  ON  EVERY  YEAR

UNTIL  HE  PASSED.

WE  CARRIED  IT  ON  AT

OUR  HOME  BUT  AMY

ALWAYS  RECEIVED  PLAIN

M&M'S  AS  PEANUTS

CAUSED  HER  MIGRAINES.

CHRISTMAS  DAY  IS

GRANDMA  RAGAN'S

BIRTHDAY.  THEY  ARE

CELEBRATING  CHRISTMAS

IN  HEAVEN  TOGETHER.

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY

JESUS,  MY  SAVIOR

AND

GRANDMA  RAGAN.

HUG  AMY  FOR  RICHARD

AND  ME   AND

DON'T  FEED  HER  TOO

MANY  CHEETOS.

I  HAVE  SO  MANY  THINGS

TO  POST...I  AM  RUNNING

BEHIND.

THANK  YOU,  ALL  MY  DEAR

FOLLOWERS  THAT  I  CALL

"FRIEND"  FOR  CATCHING

MY  TEARS,  FOR  STICKING

BY  ME,  WHEN  I  WAS  TOO

GRIEVED  TO  POST...FOR  BEING

SUCH  AN  INSPIRATION...FOR

PRAYING  FOR  ME...FOR  THE

E  MAILS  OF  LOVE...YOU  MEAN

MORE  TO  ME  THAN  I  CAN

SAY.  AFTER  THE  NEW  YEAR,

I  WILL  BE  HAVING  A

GIVE  AWAY  FOR  MY

FOLLOWERS  TO  ENTER.

IT  IS  A  THANK  YOU  FOR

YOUR  SUPPORT  AND  THE

LOVE  YOU  HAVE  SHOWN  ME.

I  WAS  SO  VERY  FORTUNATE  TO  BE  A  PART

OF  THE  12  DAYS  OF  CHRISTMAS  ATC  SWAP,

HOSTED  BY  THE  LOVELY  MS.  WENDY.

I  WAS  SO  HONORED  TO  BE  A  PART  OF

A  PROJECT  WITH  11  TALENTED  ARTISTS.

EACH  ARTIST  WAS  GIVEN  A  DAY  AND

YOU  MADE  12  CARDS  AND  MAILED  THEM  TO

MS  WENDY.

WHEN  THE  PACKAGE  ARRIVED  FROM  WENDY,

I  WAS  BESIDE  MYSELF  WITH  JOY.

THIS  IS  A  PICTURE  OF  THE  BEAUTIFUL  BOX

MS.  WENDY  SENT  OUR  ATC'S  IN.

SOME  TOOK  THE  TOP  OF  THE  BOX  OFF

AND  HUNG  IT  ON  THEIR  CHRISTMAS  TREE  AS  AN

ORNAMENT.

MY  PICTURES  ARE  NOT  VERY  GOOD  BUT  OH

WHAT  A  SURPRISE  WHEN  I  OPENED  THE  BOX

AND  SAW  HOW  MS.  WENDY  HAD  PACKAGED

THESE  BEAUTIFUL  ART  PIECES.  THEY  WERE

WRAPPED  WITH  A  LOVELY  RIBBON,  WITH  A  TAG

AND  BEAUTIFUL  BEADS.  EACH  ATC  HAD  THEIR  OWN

POCKET  THAT  STORED  OUR  WORKS  OF  ART.

IN  THIS  PICTURE  YOU  CAN  SEE  A  CLOSEUP

OF  HOW  EACH  ONE  IS  CONTAINED  IN  A  POCKET.

YOU  DID  A  WONDERFUL  JOB  MARLENE.

THE  NINTH  DAY  OF  CHRISTMAS  WAS  MADE  BY

SANDI

I  LOVED  ALL  THE  CARDS  BUT  SANDI'S  WAS  MY

FAVORITE.  I  HOPE  YOU  CAN  SEE  IT  UP  CLOSE.

WHEN  I  LOOKED  AT  HER  CARD  I  COULD  SEE

THE  DRUMMERS  DRUMMING  AND  STANDING  IN

WHAT  LOOKED  LIKE  FROZEN  FOG.

IF  I  HAD  BEEN  A  JUDGE  AND  (ALL  OF  THESE  ATC'S

ARE  NOT  JUDGED  AND  THEY  STAND  ON  THEIR  OWN

AS  BEAUTIFUL  ART  WORK)

...BUT...I  WOULD  PICK

SANDI'S  AS  MY  FAVORITE  AND  I  HAVE  NOT  EVEN

HAD  THE  PLEASURE  TO  MEET  HER.

BEAUTIFUL  JOB  SANDI.  YOUR  ATC  JUST  SPOKE

TO  ME.

I  WANT  TO  THANK  WENDY  AND  EACH  ARTIST

You always take the time in your busyness to think of others.

I bet Amy doesn't have migraines in Heaven - can eat all the m&m and Cheetos she wants.

Can you imagine Christmas being celebrated in Heaven?

Whew!

Love,
sandie

Hi Debbie, It was so sweet of you to drop by The Vintage Nest with a nice comment and Christmas wishes. I hope you had a really nice holiday. We drove to spend the holiday with my youngest in NYC but the snowstorm/blizzard drove us out earlier than we had planned to leave. It snowed all the way home but we made it safe and sound...thank the good Lord. We, too, have a tradition of giving the boys a huge bag of M&M's in their stockings and even though they are all grown up they still get their M&M's...one with peanuts and the other without. Happy Happy New Year.

Debbie, I just find you via Olivia's Romantic Home. I read the comment you left her ( i don't know if you are supposed to do that, is almost like reading somebody's mail) and I thought I have to see this lady's blog. I was right, I love how your faith shines thru in your writings. I enjoy looking and I'm going back for more. Blessings, Marta.

Hi Debbie, Your post is beyond inspirational. I didn't know about Amy until your comment today. I knew in my heart the design was meant for someone. I just knew it. It is hard to describe. The design of the butterfly just flowed so beautifully. It was for you. Merry Chrismas Debbie. *hugs & petals* mo

Well sweet friend, update on the cooking. I made fabulous burgers tonight and the hubs did not touch my casserole. Oh well, I will pretend it is because he is sick, I have to give him a break bc he works in italian restaurant and I think he wants to come home and eat meat and potatos. Anyhoo, I painted away today and the kids are all snuggled in a tent in a garage with my new heating blanket lol. It is in the fifties tonight so I let them.
Have a lovely new year.
Squishy tight hugs,
Olivia

Hi, Debbie...so nice to meet you! Thanks muchly for signing up to follow my blog...I'm going to do the same for yours:) So sorry that we have to be members of the same sad club, the club for mothers who have lost their children. I am so glad you have remained strong in your faith. I lost my faith for awhile after the loss of our daughter but my sweet husband wouldn't let me give up and thankfully I found my way back. I haven't had time to check out everything about your blog but love what I've seen so far. Wonderful job...and so uplifting. I look forward to visiting you often and hope you will do the same. If you ever need to "talk" feel free to email me. I pray 2011 will bring you many blessings and much joy.
