A STUNNING CIGAR BOX

XOXOXOXOXOXO...AMY...XOXOXOXOXOXO
ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS AND MIND
HAPPY  HALLOWEEN  IN  HEAVEN  OUR
"PRECIOUS  BUTTERFLY  PRINCESS"
OH MY,  HOW  I  REMEMBER  SEWING  THESE
BUTTERFLIES  ALL  OVER  YOUR  GOWN

THIS  IS  REVEAL  TIME  FOR

THE  FALL  FINDINGS  CIGAR  BOX  SWAP

AT

THE  BLOGGERETTE  SORORITY

HOSTED  BY

THE  LOVELY

MS.  KAREN

FROM

SOME  DAYS  ARE  LIKE  DIAMONDS.

MY  SWAP  PARTNER  WAS

THE  ARTISTIC

MS.  REBECCA

FROM

Un  Lapin  dans  le  Jardin.

A  RABBIT  IN  THE  GARDEN.

I  WENT  AND  BROWSED  AROUND  REBECCA'S  BLOG,

WHEN  KAREN  GAVE  US  THE  NAMES  OF  OUR  SWAP

PARTNERS.   I  EVEN  MADE  THE  STUPID  MISTAKE

OF  TELLING  HER  I  WAS  HER  FALL SWAP  PARTNER......I

DIDN'T  KNOW  THESE  THINGS  WERE  SECRET.  THE  E MAIL

CAME,  TELLING  IT  WAS  A  SECRET  AFTER  I  ALREADY

TOLD  HER.   I  WORKED

AS  A  NURSE  ALL  MY  LIFE  UNTIL  I  BECAME  DISABLED

AND  ONLY  BOUGHT  A  COMPUTER  ABOUT  7  YEARS  AGO.

ALL  MY  CREATIONS  AND  MY  COTTAGE  DECORATING  WASN'T

POSTED...I  DIDN'T  KNOW  WHAT  A  POST  WAS,  LET  ALONE  A

COMPUTER....AND  SPENDING  TIME  WITH  MY  2  CHILDREN  WAS

MY  JOY.

YOU  MUST  GO  VISIT  HER.  SHE  CREATES  THE  MOST  AMAZING

ATC'S.   NOT  ONLY  IS  HER  WORK  STUNNING  BUT  SHE

IS  BATTLING  A  CHRONIC  ILLNESS  THAT  KEEPS  HER  OUT

OF  THE  STUDIO  WHEN  CREATING  BRINGS  HER  SO  MUCH

JOY.   WE  HAVE  NEVER  MET  BEFORE  BUT  I  AM  GLAD  I

WAS  BROUGHT  DOWN  HER  PATH.

MY  PHOTOGRAPHS  DO  NOT  DO  JUSTICE  TO  THE

BEAUTY  OF  THE  ALTERED  CIGAR  BOX  SHE  SENT

ME.

IT  IS  NO  SECRET  THAT  I  LOVE  PARIS  AND  SHE

BROUGHT  PARIS  TO  MY  HOME  VIA  A  BOX.

IF  YOU  WANT  TO  SEE  MUCH  CLEARER  PICTURES,

SHE  POSTED  ABOUT  IT  ON  HER  BLOG  ON

OCTOBER  23,  I  THINK,  AND  HER  PICTURES  ARE

VERY  CLEAR.

IT  IS  ALL  DONE  IN  LAVENDERS,  CREAMS,  AND

PURPLES.  IT  HAS  THE  MOST  BEAUTIFUL  PURPLE

LACE  FLOWER  WITH  GORGEOUS  VARIEGATED  RIBBONS

EXTENDING  FROM  THE  LACE  FLOWER.

I  TELL  YOU  I  TOOK  MY  TIME  SAVORING  THE  WORK  OF

THE  ART  PIECE  IN  FRONT  OF  ME.

IN  THE  UPPER  TWO  CORNERS,  THE  SMALL  BRONZE

SWAGS  AND  THE  LITTLE  TAG  FLOWER  ON  THE  PIECE

OF  SHEET  MUSIC,  ARE  ANTIQUE  FRENCH  PIECES.

THE  INSIDE  LID  IS  BEAUTIFUL  IRISES  WITH  A  PRECIOUS

BLUE  BUTTERFLY.  IT  IS  FRAMED  IN  SHEET  MUSIC.

THERE  WAS  AN  ENVELOPE  THAT  SAID,

"READ  AFTER  YOU'VE  SEEN  YOUR  BOX!"

I  THOUGHT,  "I  HAVE  SEEN  MY  BOX  AND  EVEN  IF  IT

WAS  EMPTY,  I  HAD  BEEN  GIVEN  A  GIFT  I  WILL  TREASURE

FOR  A  LIFETIME."

IT  HAD  BEAUTIFUL  FALL  LEAVES...SOME  VELVET  AND

GLITTERED,  TWO  SWEET  SPARKLY  SQUASH,  AND  SOME

GORGEOUS  GLASS  GRAPES.   IT  WAS  PACKAGED  SO

PRETTY.

THIS  IS  A  BEAUTIFUL  HANKIE  AND  IT  IS  WRAPPED  IN

VERY  DELICATE  VINTAGE  GOLD  LEAF  LACE  ON  NETTING.

 I  JUST  GIGGLED

LIKE  A  LITTLE  GIRL  WHEN  I  SAW  WHAT  WAS  ON

THE  INSIDE  OF  THE  HANKIE  WITH  SWEET  VIOLETS.

IT  WAS........

DRUM  ROLL  PLEASE.............

THE  CUTEST,  SWEETEST  MINIATURE

COOKIE  CUTTERS.   I  COLLECT  COOKIE  CUTTERS  AND

HAVE  A  BIG  JAR  FOR  ME  AND  A  BIG  JAR  FOR  AMY.

I  HAVE  NEVER  SEEN  THE  TINY  ONES...SO  NOW  I  CAN

START  A  NEW  JAR.

THANK  YOU  REBECCA.  THEY  ARE  SO  SWEET.

I  WISH  YOU  COULD  SEE  HOW  VERY  PRETTY  THIS  CRISP

WHITE  VINTAGE  EUROPEAN  EMBROIDERED  POCKET  IS.

WHEN  I  SAW  IT,  IT  MADE  ME  THINK  OF  WHAT  A  EUROPEAN

WOMAN  WOULD  HIDE  HER  JEWELS  OR  MONEY  IN.

INSIDE  MY  POCKET  WAS  TINY  CUPCAKE  HOLDERS.

CUPCAKES  ARE  A  JEWEL  BUT  I  CAN'T  HAVE  THEM.

WAH....WAH....I  LOVE  MY  SWEETS

THIS  IS  THE  CARD  I  SENT  TO  REBECCA.

I  HAD  HERS  ALL  WRAPPED  UP  AND  THEN  REALIZED  NO

PICTURES  HAD  BEEN  TAKEN.

IT  SAID  HER  FAVORITE  COLOR  WAS  RED  BUT  MORE  OF

A  BLUE  RED.

I  FOUND  THE  RABBIT  IMAGE  AND  SINCE  HER  BLOG  IS

Un  Lapin  dans  le  Jardin,

I  THOUGHT  SHE  MIGHT  LIKE  IT.  HE  WAS  A

HAPPY  EASTER  BUNNY  I  CUT  OUT  AND  THEN  FOUND  HIM

A  HAT.

I  WAS  GOING  TO  CLOSE  THE  CIGAR  BOX  WITH  TWO

PIECES  OF  TWIG  BUT  I  USED  TWO  LITTLE  CARROTS

THAT  WAS  SENT  TO  ME  FROM  MY  FRIEND  DEEDEE.

THAT  IS  A  WHOLE  POST  IN  ITSELF.....I  AM  6  POSTS  BEHIND

BECAUSE  BLOGGER,  WELL,  I  JUST  WON'T  SAY  UNTIL  I  GET

THROUGH  WITH  THIS  AS  I  HAVE  NOT  BEEN  ABLE  TO  POST

FOR  OVER  2  WEEKS.  I  JUST  LOVE  BLOGGER,  DON'T  YOU.

I  PUT  A  BEAUTIFUL  FALL  BUTTERFLY  IN  THE  LID

WITH  SOME  ITALIAN  STAMPS.

THIS  WAS  VERY  FUN.

AND  KEEP  YOU.

PLEASE  REMEMBER  THE  FOLLOWING  PEOPLE

IN  PRAYER:

MY  AUNT  JEAN....SERIOUSLY  ILL.  BEEN  IN  HOSPITAL
5  WEEKS  NOW...
LORETTA'S  MOTHER
ANGEL  DAWN
BONNIE...STAGE 4 UTERINE CANCER
LEILA
KRISTIE
PATRICIA
OUR HOUSE TO SELL

BE  SURE  TO  BE  EVER  VIGILANT  IN  USING  PAY  PAL

OR  ANY  ON  LINE  TRANSACTION...

SOME  ONE  GOT  HOLD  OF  OUR  VISA  NUMBER

AND  SPENT  $186.00  AT  A  PLACE  CALLED  SHERRY'S  BOOKS

IN  KENTUCKY...BUT  I  BELIEVE  IT  MUST  BE  AN  E  BAY  STORE

AND  $183.00  IN  ARIZONA.  IT  HAS  REALLY  PUT  OUR  LIFE

IN  MISERY.  THE  BANK  IS  INVESTIGATING  AND  THEY  KNOW

IT  IS  OUR  VISA  ACCOUNT  THEY  USED  AND  THEY  SAID  THEY

  ARE  HAVING  A  LOT

OF  FRAUD  THROUGH  PAY  PAL.  IT  WILL  BE  NEXT  WEEK

BEFORE  THEY  KNOW  SOMETHING.  IT  IS  VERY  SAD  THAT

THEIR  ARE  CROOKS,  WHO  WANT  TO  AND  DO  STEAL  FROM

YOU.

Hi Dear Debbie,
It was soooo good to see you post!! I know this has had to be a very difficult month for you and your family. What a stunning picture of Amy. Was that Homecoming or Prom or something like that??
Wow, you guys did amazing things with a cigar book!! They were both so pretty, and full of fun goodies. The lil cookie cutters were just adorable, as were the tiny Paris cutouts for cards. Don't you just love those lil things. Course, I love just about anything miniature.
Must be the lil girl in me!! lol
Hope you are doing well hon,
Blessings, Nellie

Debbie, thanks for coming by my little corner of OZ. If your moving to McPherson KS, we will both be Kansas Girls. The box you receieved was gorgeous, love all the little cupcake and Paris item. You also did a fabulous job on the one you sent. My Mom who is 84 got a call last week from London from someone saying he was her Grandson needed money. He said he had been in an accident, They knew her name and her grandsons name. THANK GOODNESS, she didn't wire any money. Evil sure does exist, we need to be aware.
Have a fantastic fall day.

Hi Debbie,
So nice to hear from you. Oh, it was
her Halloween costume. She looked so beautiful never would have thought!!
She looks so delightfully happy in that picture. I am a Happy Harvest girl myself, but my kids are into Halloween as well. In fact, they went to a costume party last night and are going to another one tonight.
Scott went as a policeman his girlfriend was his prisioner, and Our
Dee was a sailor and her boyfriend a pilot!! I am hoping they will come by and let us see them in their costumes since they are coming to our area for the party.
Scott is loving his new job, and well....we are still waiting on the Lord to tell us what He is gonna do with Hubby!! But we do feel the Lord is leading him into his own business,
we think anyway!! Only time will tell, but he has had some great ideas and things that seem like direction to us!! lol
The Lord has been super faithful as always, and has kept giving him work from his old job, so we are soooo
grateful for that!! The last 2 weeks have been like he is working from home and was never laid off, and he will have another week this week, so that is good!! That will take care of this months and next months budget.
Yes, we pray for this nation daily too, our country is in such a mess and unless the Lord intervenes.....
It is hard to think about, course,
the Lord may just come and get us out of here....and that would be fine too!! It's way more scary to think about living here ~ course, we just have to keep our eyes on Jesus, and he will take care of us, either way!!

Glad you liked my story about Joey,
I thought it was cute, and was thinking that maybe down the road
when I have grandchildren I might could make it into a lil book for them. A girl can dream, can't she?? Dream meaning grandchildren!! lol

Glad you are doing well Sweetie,
and thanks for your nice long encouraging comment, it was special and made my day!!
Love and blessings hon,
Nellie

Love the boxes..the best part is making new friends!
Thinking of you and thank you for stopping by:)

Hello dear Debbie looks like you made and got a very nice gift. I am doing Blissfull ATC swap. Haven't been too involved with Bloggerettes been so busy doing my Christmas projects. I have been weaving baskets for my children and am loving the basket making. I think I will be doing that for awhile. Praying with you that your house sells. That swap required a lot of work, and you were thoughtful to go to the blog of your swap partner and find out a little bit about her.
Both projects are very lovely and look as though you both spent much time on them.
Am thinking about you and those on your prayer list.
