PRECIOUS POLLY'S BEAUTIFUL ATC CARDS

XOXOXOXOXO...AMY...XOXOXOXOXOXO

AS  MOST  OF  YOU  KNOW  I  BELONG  TO  ONE  OF

THE  GREATEST  GROUP  OF  WOMEN,  LED  BY  THE TWO

BEAUTIFUL  HOSTESSES  AND  CREATORS,  DEBBIE  AND

WENDY.

THEY  NAMED  OUR  ATC  GROUP  THE  BLISSFULL  ATC  SWAP.

EACH  MONTH  IS  A  NEW  THEME  AND  IT  IS  NOT  TOO

LATE  TO  SIGN  UP  FOR  OCTOBER'S  THEME, "DARK."

POLLY  IS  THE  NAME  OF  THE  LADY  THAT  WAS  MY

SEPTEMBER  SWAP  PARTNER.   IF  YOU  READ  IN  MY

LAST  POST  IT  TOLD  OF  HOW  POLLY  IS  ON  DIS-

ABILITY  AND  HAD  HER  PURSE  WITH  ALL...ALL

HER  MONEY  STOLEN  FROM  HER  SHOPPING  CART.

I  IN  NO  WAY  EXPECTED  POLLY  TO  MAKE  AND  MAIL

HER  SEPTEMBER  ATC.  I  HAD  TOTALLY  FORGOTTEN

ABOUT  IT  UNTIL  SATURDAY,  WHEN  A  BEAUTIFUL

ENVELOPE  ARRIVED  IN  OUR  MAILBOX.

POLLY  HAS  HAD  BOTH  HER  PARENTS

  PASS  ON  TO  THEIR

SAVIOUR'S  ARMS,  HER  BELOVED  HUSBAND,

  AND  TWO

YEARS  AGO  HER  20  YEAR  OLD  SON.   WE  HAD  AN

IMMEDIATE  BOND  AS  WE  BOTH  HAD  A  CHILD  GO  ON

TO  THEIR  FINAL  HOME  WITH  JESUS.

   WE  BOTH  KNEW  THE

PAIN  WITHOUT  DISCUSSING  THE  AGONY.

   SHE  IS  ONE  OF  THE

SWEETEST  AND  KINDEST  LADIES

  YOU  WILL  EVER  MEET.

HER  BEAUTIFUL  BLOG  IS:

IF  YOU  LOVE  BEAUTIFUL  IMAGES

  OF  ANGELS,  SHE  IS

YOUR  GIRL.  SHE  FREQUENTLY  SHARES

  BEAUTIFUL  IMAGES

OF  ANGELS.

THE  ATC  CARDS  WERE  ENCLOSED  IN  THIS  SWEET

NOTE  CARD.   IT  HAD  SUCH  BEAUTIFUL  SHADES

OF  BLUE....AND  A  NOTE  I  WILL  ALWAYS  TREASURE.

SEPTEMBER'S  THEME  WAS  LEAVES.

YOU  USUALLY  JUST  SEND  ONE  CARD  BUT  I  WAS

BLESSED  WITH  TWO  CARDS  BY  POLLY.

THIS  ONE  WITH  THE  ANGEL  IS  SOOOO  VERY

STUNNING  AND  I  LOVE  THE  VERSE:

THE  FALL  OF  A  LEAF  IS  AN  ANGEL'S

WHISPER.

IS  THAT  NOT  JUST  THE  MOST  BEAUTIFUL

SAYING.

I  LOVE  THE  SOUND  A  PILE  OF  LEAVES  MAKE

WHEN  YOU  WALK  THROUGH  THEM  ON  A  BRISK

DAY.   AFTER  READING  THE  VERSE  I  KNOW  I

HAVE  WALKED  THROUGH  A  CHOIR  OF  ANGELS.

POLLY,  YOUR  CARD  IS  SO  STUNNING  AND  I  WILL

TREASURE  IT,  JUST  AS  I  DO  EACH  ONE  I  RECEIVE.

YOU  ARE  TALENTED.

THIS  CARD  IS  SO  SWEET  AND  VERY  UNIQUE.  I

DON'T  KNOW  HOW  SHE  DID  IT,  UNLESS  SHE

KNOWS  WHERE  THERE  IS  A  FAIRY  GARDEN...

BUT  THESE  LEAVES  LOOK  AND  FEEL  REAL.

BEAUTIFUL  JOB  POLLY.   I  AM  SO  EXCITED.

I  LOVED  THEM  BOTH.

I  WILL  BE  ANSWERING  ALL  YOUR  E-MAILS  LATER

TODAY.   I  HAVE  NOT  CHECKED  E-MAILS  FOR  7  DAYS

AND  IT  HAS  BEEN  11  DAYS  SINCE  I  POSTED.

THANK  YOU  SWEET  FRIENDS  FOR  DROPPING  BY  TO

SEE  ME.

IT  HAS  BEEN  A  VERY  EMOTIONAL  TIME.   I  AM  GOING

THROUGH  ALL  OF  AMY'S  THINGS.   IT  IS  SAD  THAT

SUCH  THINGS  ARE  LEFT  SCATTERED  WHEN  A

PERSON  MAKES  THEIR  FINAL  JOURNEY  HOME.

HER  WHITE  BATHROBE  WITH  THE  LITTLE  YELLOW

DUCKIE  STILL  HANGS  ON  THE  BACK  OF  OUR

BATHROOM  DOOR  AND  IT  ALWAYS  WILL,  EVEN  WHEN

WE  MOVE.   IT  DESCRIBES  HER  WILLINGNESS  TO

ALWAYS  HAVE  THE  FUN  AND  IMAGINATION  OF  A

CHILD.

I  FEEL  LIKE  A  DR.  JEKYLL  AND  MR.  HYDE  AS  SOME

OF   HER  PERSONAL  BELONGINGS  MAKE  ME  CRY  WITH

GRIEF,  SOME  MAKE  MR.  SIMPLY  AND  I  LAUGH,  AND

SOME  MAKE  US  MAD  AND  ANGRY....AND  SOME  CAN

CAUSE  US  TO  FEEL  AND  EXPRESS  ALL  THOSE

EMOTIONS  IN  A  SPAN  OF  15  SECONDS.

RICHIE'S  MOTHER-IN-LOVE  IS  MAKING  HIM  A  QUILT

FROM  SOME  OF  AMY'S  T-SHIRTS  WHICH  I  KNOW  WILL

BE  AWESOME.  SHE  IS  AN  EXCELLENT  SEAMSTRESS.

RICHIE  HAS  BEEN  SO  BUSY  WITH  HIS  NEW  JOB

THAT  HE  HASN'T  HAD  A  CHANCE  TO  THINK  ABOUT

MUCH.

SATURDAY,  I  HAD  A  LOVELY  VISIT  WITH   MEGAN,

MY  DAUGHTER-IN-LOVE.   SHE  DROVE  DOWN  FROM

KANSAS  TO  RETURN  HER  UNCLE'S  CAR  AND  TO

TAKE  AMY'S  BLAZER  BACK  TO  KANSAS.

  (HER  CAR  HAD  BEEN  TOTALED

IN  A  WRECK  EARLIER  THIS  YEAR.)

RICHIE  AND  MEGAN  ARE  GOING  TO  BE  LOOKING

FOR  MR.  SIMPLY  AND  ME  A  CONDO  OR  A  HOUSE  WITH

A  SMALL  YARD.

WHEN  YOU  START  PACKING,  IT  IS  A  LOT  EASIER  TO

THROW  THINGS  OUT.

AND  KEEP  YOU  UNTIL  WE  BLOG  AGAIN.

MAY  GOD  RICHLY  BLESS  EACH  ONE  OF  YOU  AS

YOU  SEEK  TO  GET  CLOSER  TO  HIM  EACH  DAY.

HUGS,

SIMPLY  DEBBIE

DEBBIE,
GLAD TO HAVE YOU BACK. THE ATC'S POLLY SENT ARE GREAT. I AM GLAD THE 2 OF YOU HAVE FORMED A BOND. PACKING IS A GOOD TIME TO HAVE A LOOK THROUGH ALL OUR THINGS AND TO ASK THE QUESTION, "DO I REALLY NEED THIS?"
OF COURSE THERE ARE ITEMS YOU WILL NEVER PART WITH, SUCH AS THE BATHROBE. A NEW HOME WILL BE SO MUCH FUN FOR YOU. A NEW PLACE TO DECORATE AND MAKE YOUR OWN.
GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU FRIEND,
DEBBIE

Oh Debbie, what a beautiful set of cards from sweet Polly!
My breath is taken away with your pain Debbie..I am praying for you dear lady..please post when you can, and a day at a time. My sweet daughter in love's daddy passed away last month at the age of a young 53 of massive heart attack. Her stepmom and her are mourning so. Lainie, my DIL, has some of her dad's tshirts and her mom is making quilts for her and for her stepmom...the pain is real and I don't know how to help eithe of them.
Well sorry I rambled..

Oh, sweet, simply Debbie ... I am so, so happy you liked the cards. I wanted especially for you the leaf with the angel. You are such a darling person and you have made my day so much brighter!! I have hardly made any ATC's and I wanted yours to be special. Your darling daughter softly whispers to you with every leaf that falls.

Dear Debbie, I do not know how anyone can cope without Jesus and our Lord...my prayer is that He will give you that peace that is beyond all understanding and carry you in His comfort.

That is the sweetest saying, and I will write that one down. I love angels, and I have a collection of various angels.
I will have to check out Polly's blog. Thanks so much for your sweet comments.
I can't imagine having to go through your child's things. My heart goes out to you. It was hard enough when my mom died.
Enjoy your special gift. You deserve it.

Debbie, thank you for the beautiful ornament card you sent me, it is LOVELY!! You sure did not have to do that, you thanked me for winning the giveaway when you got the things I sent:D I have cut back on blogging and reading blogs, just because I found it consumed all my time and I wasn't getting anything done, I will stop over more often, always thinking of you ((HUGS)) Carmen

Dear Debbie,
I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful card and notes you sent to me. I was excited and thrilled...it is my Birthday next weekend and I think God sent this to me through you! It made me giddy with excitement to think fairy dust was sprinkled in my card and then I read your kind note and I almost cried! You sweet girl, I did not need a thank you card but this was fabulous! I am in love with the beautiful art you sent! Thank you again! Super giant squishy hugs!!!!!
