PINK SATURDAY

XOXOXOXO...AMY...XOXOXOXO
ALWAYS  IN  OUR  HEARTS

IT  IS  SATURDAY  AGAIN,  ALREADY.  IT  IS

THE  DAY  THE  COLOR  "PINK"  FLOODS

THE  INTERNET  AND  MS.  BEVERLY

HAS  MANY,  MANY  VISITORS.   IT  IS

LIKE  THE  OSCAR  NOMINATIONS...LOL...

EVERYONE  WHO  IS  ANYONE  IS  ON  THE

LIST  AND  YOU  HAVE  A  FRONT  ROW

SEAT......

TO  SEE  IT  ALL  AND  VISIT  THEM

ALL.

EACH  WEEK  WE  ARE  TO  LIST  SOME

BLOGS  THAT  WE  WOULD  LIKE  TO

GIVE  A  SHOUT  OUT  TO,  AND  THEN

YOU  STOP  BY  AND  GIVE  THEM  A

"PINK  SATURDAY  HOWDY"............

BE  SURE  AND  SIGN  UP  AS  A

FOLLOWER  AND  WHEN  SHE

REACHES  300  FOLLOWERS,  SHE

HAS  AN  AWESOME  GIVE  AWAY.

TODAY  IS  SANDIE'S  FIRST  PINK

SATURDAY,  EVEN  THOUGH  SHE  HAS

BEEN  VISITING  SOME  OF  YOU  ALREADY

ON  PINK  SATURDAY.  SHE  IS  AN  AWESOME

GRANDMA  AND  ENJOYS  HER  TIME  WITH

ANDY.  THEY  WENT  ON  VACATION  TO

SOME  EXCITING  PLACES....AND  HE

RECEIVED  A  NEW  PUPPY  TO  LOVE.

I  KNOW,  THAT  WHILE  THIS  IS

A  DAY  OF  FUN  AND  RELAXATION,  YOU

WILL  JOIN  ME  IN  A  PRAYER  FOR  ALL

THOSE  WHO  ARE  ILL,  THOSE  WHO  NEED

A  JOB  AND/OR  THE  DIRECTION  IN  WHICH

TO  GO,  THOSE  IN  THE  GULF  PORT  WHO

ARE  SUFFERING,  AND  THANK  YOU  LORD

THIS  OIL  FLOW  HAS  FINALLY  BEEN

STOPPED.

MAY  WE  ALWAYS

BE  TENDER  WITH  THOSE  WHO  HAVE

HAD  A  LOVED  ONE  DIE.  GRIEF  IS  A

MYSTERIOUS  THING  THAT  JUST  CANNOT

BE  PENCILED  ON  TO  A  DATE  IN  YOUR

ORGANIZER...EVERY  DAY  I

RECEIVE  AN  E MAIL  FROM  A  MOTHER

WHOSE  CHILD  HAS  DIED...IT  HAS

RANGED  FROM  A  MOTHER  THAT

HER  BEAUTIFUL  TWIN  DAUGHTERS

LIVED  30  MINUTES  TO  A  MOTHER

WHOSE  SON  WAS  60.  AND  GRIEF  EVEN

FIFTEEN  YEARS  LATER  STILL  HAS

ITS'  DAYS  FOR  THEM.

OUR  ONLY  TOLERANCE  OF  IT,  IS

THEY  LIVE  ON  WITH  JESUS  AND

WE  HAVE  THE  PROMISE  WE  WILL

SEE  THEM  AGAIN.

THERE  IS  ALWAYS  SOMEONE

WE  CROSS  PATHS  WITH  THAT

IS  FIGHTING  A  BATTLE  AND

WE  CAN  MAKE  THEIR  DAY  BRIGHTER.

THAT  IS  WHY  YOU  ARE  ALL  SO

VERY  SPECIAL.

I  SO  LOVE  THIS  IMAGE.  I  HAVE

AN  OLD  SUITCASE  THAT  I  AM

GOING  TO  PAINT  PINK  AND  A  WHITE

LACEY  UMBRELLA  AND  MR.  SIMPLY

AND  I  ARE  GOING  ON  A  PICTURE

ADVENTURE.

I  WISH  I  WAS  AT  THAT  BEACH  AND

THE  SUITCASE  WAS  FULL  OF  SEA

SHELLS  AND  SEA  GLASS.

I  WOULD  LOVE  TO  HAVE  A  BOTTLE

OF  SAND  FROM  EVERY  BEACH  IN

THE  WORLD.  I  WONDER  IF  THAT

IS  RECORDED IN  THE  WORLD  RECORD

BOOK.

THANK  YOU  FOR  JOINING  ME  AND

GRACIE  ANNE  TODAY.  IT  ALWAYS

MAKES  OUR  DAY  WHEN  YOU  STOP

BY  TO  SEE  US.

HAVE  A  LOVELY  WEEKEND

AND  KEEP  THOSE  YOU

LOVE  CLOSE  TO  YOU.

Hello, Debbie!
What a touching post!! I truly think that you have found a way to channel your grief into bring a bit of brightness into other people's days by being there to listen and offer a prayer and ask for prayers for those in need! And we are all in need in one way or another.
It is such a pleasure knowing you, my friend!!

Unbelievably, Debbie, I had a whole set of pink luggage like that -- and got rid of it for nothing at a yard sale -- it was "too oldfashioned" for me at the time. Young people can be so silly!!! Argh!

I love your sand-from-every-beach idea!!!

You are a very sweet lady.
I like the idea of having a bottle of sand from every beach...

Hi Debbie,

The suitcase image is fabulous. I'm so glad you dropped by to see me....of course, I'm always glad to hear your vibrant voice casting good energy everywhere.♥

I so totally agree with you about the paths that we walk...no one really knows what any of us may be dealing with from one day to the next and the simple goodness of passing on a smile and a kind comment can mean the world to us...I know it means so much to me to have you and others leave me comments...it's such a unique connection. Those that do not blog simple don't know what they are missing.

Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥

Blessings to you this morning sweet Debbie! My prayers are with your always. I prayed with you as I read your words asking God to honor the prayers of our hearts.

I too want to see Paris some day, maybe it will be on a fly by the day God takes us Home but we'll see it!

Love & hugs, Sherry

such a sweet post Debbie and I am crazy about that pink suitcase sitting on the shoreline. Having just returned from a fabulous stay at the beach I can really relate. LOL...the whole time I was at the beach cottage I was redecorating it in my mind in pinks and aquas and blues and whites. Hope you are having a simply beautiful weekend. xo Lynn

DEBBIE YOU ARE SO DARN SWEET - EVEN MENTIONING MY BLOG - BUT YOU FORGOT ONE IMPORTANT THING -

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO GOT ME TO TRY PINK SATURDAY -

YOU GAVE ME SUPPORT, THE COURAGE, AND THE KNOWLEDGE HOW TO DO IT - BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON I WAS SO SCARED.

SO YOU ARE A REAL PINKIE!

AND YOU DO SO MUCH FOR OTHERS.

THE SUITCASE IN THE SAND MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD TOO - CAN'T PUT MY FINGER ON EXACTLY.

LOVE YOU,
SANDIE

Debbie
I sit here writing you this morning and don't know where to begin. I have to tell you that finding your comment on my post this morning brought tears of joy to me. Joy that you came by and wished me well. Now I think I can be strong knowing that you are thinking about me and praying for me. You probably think that is silly for me to say but you have no idea how much I have been wanting to hear from you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by and leaving such a wonderful comment that I so needed.
Your always in my thoughts and I love you
