"PINK"  LOVERS  AS  YOU  CAN.

MR.  SIMPLY  TOOK  THESE  PICTURES  OF  THE

BEAUTIFUL  CONE  FLOWERS  WHEN  HE  WENT

OVER  TO  MOW  AMY'S  YARD.

WE  PLANTED  THEM  OVER  12  YEARS  AGO

WITH  SOME  MINT.......

IF  YOU  WANT  A  FLOWER  BED   TO

FILL  IN  WITH  GREENERY...THEN  PLANT  MINT.....

I  FORE  WARN  YOU  HOWEVER  THE  MINT  WILL

TAKE  OVER,  PUSHING  EVERYTHING  OUT  OF  ITS'

WAY,  AND  DECLARE  I'M

"QUEEN  OF  THE  FLOWER  BED."

THIS  YEAR  THE  CONE  FLOWERS  WERE  PRETTIER

THAN  THE  LAST  4  YEARS.   I  THINK  MISS  AMY

HAD  SOMETHING  TO  DO  WITH  THAT.

THEY  SAY,  (THEY  BEING  DIFFERENT  ARTICLES

ON  THE  INTERNET)  CONE  FLOWERS  ARE

BECOMING  HARDER  AND  HARDER  TO  FIND.

THEY  ARE  A  VERY  INTERESTING  FLOWER  TO

READ  ABOUT.

THANK  YOU  VICTORIAN  ROSE  FOR  THE

BEAUTIFUL  E  MAIL  WITH  THE  GORGEOUS  SONG,

SUNG  BY  BJ  THOMAS.  YOU  ARE  SOOOOO  SWEET.

"I  WILL  BE  GLAD  AND  REJOICE  IN  YOUR

LOVE,  FOR  YOU  SAW   MY  AFFLICTION  AND

KNEW  THE  ANGUISH  OF  MY  SOUL."

PLEASE  REMEMBER  THOSE  IN  NEED  AND

ESPECIALLY  MY  DEAR  FRIEND,

LORETTA,

FROM  THE  BLOG...

UNDER  THE  WILD  CHERRY  TREE.

HER  MOTHER  IS  A  BRITTLE  DIABETIC

AND  IS  VERY  ILL.

SHE  NEEDS  A  SURGERY  TO  RESTORE  THE

CIRCULATION  TO  HER  LOWER  LEGS  TO

AVOID  AMPUTATIONS....BUT  SHE  IS  TOO

ILL  FOR  THE  DRS.  TO  DO  SURGERY.

PLEASE  STOP  BY  HER  BLOG  AND  GIVE

HER  A  HUG  AND  SOME  LOVE:

I  LOVE  YOU  LORETTA  AND  JUST  AS

YOU  AND  RAY  PRAYED  SO  FAITHFULLY

FOR  ME  AND  MR.  SIMPLY,  WE  ARE

PRAYING  FOR  YOU  AND  YOUR  MOTHER.

THANK  YOU  ALL  FOR  STOPPING  BY  TODAY.

IT  MAKES  ME  FEEL  LOVED  AND  BRIGHTENS

MY  DAY.  MY  PRAYER  IS  I  DO  THE  SAME  FOR

YOU.

Pretty pink coneflowers, so old-fashioned and simple. I love them. And they provide a lot of food for insects and birds, too.

SO PREDICTABLE.
THEY ARE LOSING PEOPLE RIGHT AND LEFT, CAUSE OF HOW THEY TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES. I SO WONDER WHY EMPLOYERS DO THAT......THEY ARE SHOOTING THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT AS WELL. CRAZY!!
SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR SLEEP ISSUES, WILL SURELY BE PRAYING FOR THAT HON. SO GLAD YOU TOLD ME!!
HUBBY AND HIS SISTER HAVE SLEEP APNEA AND THEY BOTH WEAR A C-PAP TO SLEEP.
MY SIL SAYS SHE CAN'T SLEEP WITHOUT IT NOW!! DO YOU HAVE ONE?? IF NOT, IT MIGHT REALLY HELP YOU.
NOW WHAT IS AN ATC IN BLOGLAND?? I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF IT AS AN ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE, OOPS THAT WOULD BE AN ATV!! LOL
CLINKED ON ONE OF YOUR LINKS TO TRY AND FIND OUT AND I SAW THE CARD YOU SENT ONE OF THE LADIES AND GOT THE IMPRESSION THAT YOU MADE IT...IS THAT CORRECT??? BEAUTIFUL CARD BY THE WAY!!
ANYWAY, PLEASE WHEN YOU HAVE TIME EXPLAIN TO ME ABOUT WHAT IT IS!! THANKS!!
YOU HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND, AND I WISH YOU FRESH SHEETS EVERY NIGHT!!

Debbie, my cone flowers didn't do well this year. I sure hope they will reseed. I love heirloom flowers. My home is very old, and I am blessed to have some old fashioned flowers. I just cut some stems from my "snowball" bush and put them in a vase along with some day lillys. I love cut flowers. I still send prayers up for you, we belong to a "special" club that we did not want membership into.

Hello Debbie, I hope this finds you and your family doing well, safe and happy. Your cone flowers are just a delight for the eyes. I can't grow those here and they are so pretty. You don't see them that often which is a shame.
Your are right on about the mint, but although it takes over a yard, the Lord has blessed this plant with not only it's beauty, but just run your hand over it's leaves and you are blessed with a fresh, beautiful scent. Love that! Happy Pink Saturday my friend, Char

I too love Coneflowers. I had a few planted on the side of the house but the deer kept nibbling on them! I really like the newer variety that is a salmon color and might have to try some where the deer can't get to them. Have a blissful Sunday, Debbie, Nan

Hi Debbie thank youfor your deepfelt share last week it helped me so much..esp identify about the quote about so called friends..thats what happened to me they all disappear when life happened and said I had negative energy it was heart breaking but I am over it thanks to God and am moving forward.

Debbie, What a beautiful blog you have!
Mint is a wonderful addition to the garden. And you are right, it is very invasive! I keep mine in teracotta pots sunk into the ground. It works beautifully and my mint stays in one spot.
Pink coneflower is lovely. I think it makes the prettiest arrangement.
hugs,
Yvonne

There was a tiny bright pink side to your post today. Seems everywhere you look, there is a lot health issues. It is not always us seniors either. Trust you and family are well. May those in need be blessed with better health soon. Best wishes to each of them. Thanks for taking time out to pay me a visit.

Hi Debbie,
These are so beautiful!! I wanted to tell you that you are more than welcome to link up with my Link Party today!
I asked people to post a story of how they were helped in life when they least expected it...the stories are amazing...you would love them.
If you've got one, I'd love to see it...If not, this is such a lovely post, it would be wonderful if you hook it up.

Hi Debbie!
I saw your lovely comment on my blog and see you became a follower! So wonderful to meet you! Your blog is so pretty, and I love the pictures of your cats and dog! I'm a big animal lover as you can see in my posts from time to time. I am so sorry to hear you lost your daughter to cancer, I know that is an ache in the heart that never leaves. My parents and sister lost my brother before I was born. He was still an infant and I know to this day they miss him. Your daughter Amy was a beautiful lady, and as we know God must have needed her there for something very important. :-) I'm looking forward to getting to know you and reading more of your blog! I hope you have a wonderfully blessed day!
Blessings, Jill

Hi Debbie
Happy belated PINK Saturday
Pretty flower...aren't they just so simply lovely? I didn't know that about the mint..that it took over, grew so well and that it helped the flowers. I'll have to remember that one.

I hope you had a really good weekend and that this week is special for you.
*hugs*
