I am so sorry for your loss and happy that your son was there for you. I haven't lost a child in death, but I think I know how you feel because when my first husband and I were going through a divorce, he took my son (2 years old) from the daycare while I was at work. I thought my heart was going to burst! It took a judge and two days to get him and my daughters back! Thank you for a lovely post and God bless!

HI Debbie and Happy Pink Saturday!

Thanks so much for sharing your pretty pinks - Mr Andy has good taste, and must take after his Mommy. And thanks for visiting and leaving such a lovely comment. The blog title comes from having a flat - on the first floor! (2nd floor in the US - your 1st floor is our Ground floor). Hugs from the UK.

Lots of lovely pink, how nice to have a special card painted just for you. Like the kitty cat too, a nosy type kitty cat as most of them are.

Morning Debbie,
Oh what lovely gifts, the painted card is so pretty and the Tea pot is so charmingly beautiful,
and don't you just love sachets (especially if they don't give you a headache) I have noticed that about some too, cause they are just too too
strong, but those with soft scents are very lovely.
So glad your son and Dil and fur grandbabies made it a point to be with you for Mother's Day,
I am sure that had to help some!! That is so precious when we see our children go so out of their way to make us happy. It shows they are finally growing up!! what a precious gift that is in and of inself.
I thought of you and prayed for you cause I knew it would be a hard day, but didn't know it was
your birthday as well, so Happy Birthday hon!!
and
Blessings to you and yours,
Nellie

You got some neat things and they are obviously gifts of blessings for and to you! God is SO good! Even the scents were perfect. I love the photo of Andy's inspection! Too cute. You've been on my thoughts - hope you're feeling better. (Ever try vicks vaporub for your headaches? Just sniffing it can evaporate some of my headaches. FOr the bad ones, it's vicks to the temples of my head and base of my neck and be sure you're not going anywhere or that you don't lay your head down on something that can't take the vicks!). Some tough times you're going through. And, one day at a time ... you'll get through it ... it's a lot to get through. Never give up. God is faithful. Praise the Lord! Love, Jenn

Hi Debbie! What great gifts..thank you for sharing them with us on PSaturday. My heart aches for you and your family as the days go by without Amy physically present. However, I agree with you....I'm thinking she had a hand in getting that tea pot to you!!! You were such a good mom to her. . . I know that she appreciated all you did for her and the enormous amount of love you gave her.

Thanks for visiting me on my blog and such sweet comments about my grands! I found my copy of Artful Blogging at Michael's, didn't see it at Hobby Lobby. Maybe a large bookstore may have it also. Your teapot is gorgeous and the handpainted card priceless. I'm sure your Mother's Day was so hard for you and will pray for all of your family. Happy pink week and God Bless You.

Hi Debbie,
Happy belated Birthday to you.
Congratulations on your wins, that rose teapot is beautiful, and the card. Andy looks so much like my Tiger that we lost last year.
I know this was your first Mother's Day without Amy here to celebrate with you. I believe she was celebrating you in heaven, and telling the Lord what a wonderful Mother you are.
Thank you for sharing these two sites, I will check them out.
