Answer to your questions: I purchased the overmantle and fireplace surround separately, but at the same Antique Store. I painted them the same color, Linen white, and think they look great together :) They are attached to the wall; the surround is attached with a bracket, and the Overmantle is screwed into place onto the wall (into the studs, of course)

Loved the party! There was no punch left when I got here, because I am late. So me and the dancing poodle had to get ourselves big bowls of strawberries and cream instead, hope you don't mind we raided your fridge!!!

What a darling post. I loved the daning puppy..the punch looks delicious.. I've been outside all day working in the yard, so punch right about now would sure taste good.. So many people here are suffering with the loss of income from fishing and such but now the other jobs are in danger because of the drilling stoppage by the President. I don't know what our state will do, it's so sad.
