BLOG DESTRUCTION, SICKNESS, AND PRAISE THE LORD

XO...AMY...XO
ALWAYS  IN  OUR  HEART

MY  DEEPEST  APOLOGY  FOR  MISSING  THE

LAST  TWO  PINK  SATURDAYS.  I  HAVE  BEEN

SICK  AND  MY  BLOG  WAS  JUST  DESTROYED.....

I  DON'T  KNOW  WHAT  BUTTON  I  HIT  BUT  IT

REMOVED  EVERYTHING  AND  I  COULD  NOT

GET  IT  BACK.  IT  HAS  BEEN  A  BATTLE  BUT  I

FINALLY  FOUND  THE  BUTTON  THAT  BROUGHT

IT  BACK.

I  HAVE  BEEN  FIGHTING

I  AM  STILL  BATTLING  VERTIGO  AND  I  DON'T  KNOW  WHEN  IT

IS  GOING  TO  HAPPEN.   MY  HUSBAND  HAS  HAD  TO  STABLE  ME,

TO  KEEP  ME  FROM  FALLING  UNTIL  THE  ROOM  STOPS  SPINNING.

GRRRR.....SUCH  A  BOTHER  BUT  IT  ISN'T  GOING  TO  CONTROL  ME.

I'M  TRYING  TO  CATCH  UP.  THANK  YOU  FOR  THE  SWEET  E  MAILS

ENQUIRING  ABOUT  ME.   I  HAVE  MADE  SOME  PRECIOUS  FRIENDS,

HERE  IN  BLOGGY  LAND.  EVERYONE  LIKES  TO  FEEL  THAT  PEOPLE  CARE

ABOUT  THEM.  IT  IS  A  BASIC  HUMAN  NEED.

MY  PRAISE  AND  LOVE  TO  MY  LORD  JESUS  CHRIST

FOR  PREVENTING  THE  THE  CAR  BOMB  FROM  BLOWING  UP

IN  TIME  SQUARE  IN  NEW  YORK  CITY.

BUTTERCUP,  I  THOUGHT  ABOUT  YOU  RIGHT  AWAY.

WE  OFTEN  WONDER  WHAT  OUR  PURPOSE  IN  LIFE  IS.....BLESS

THE  VIET  NAM  VETERAN  WHO  HAS  SOLD  T - SHIRTS  ON  THAT

CORNER  FOR  20  YEARS.....HE  SERVED  THIS  COUNTRY  TWICE

AS  IF  HE  HAD  NOT  NOTICED  THE  SMOKE  AND  THE  BOMB

WOULD  HAVE  GONE  OFF.......IT  IS  NO  DOUBT  MANY  LIVES

WOULD  HAVE  BEEN  DESTROYED  AND  NUMEROUS  LIVES  AND  BUSINESS'S

CHANGED  FOREVER.

WE  SERVE  AN  AWESOME  GOD!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS  ARE  IN  ORDER  FOR:

SUSIE(MY  DEAREST  COUSIN)  AND  HER

HUSBAND  IRVIE,  WHO  ARE  GRADUATING  WITH

THEIR  MASTERS  DEGREE.  THEY  HAVE  BEEN

TEACHERS  FOR  MANY  YEARS.

CONGRATULATIONS,  YOU  GUYS!!!  I  AM  SO

VERY  PROUD  OF  YOU.

CONGRATULATIONS  TO  MY  AUNT  JEAN  AND

UNCLE  BILLY  FOR  CELEBRATING  THEIR

61ST  WEDDING  ANNIVERSARY.  AUNT  JEAN  IS

A  RETIRED  SCHOOL  TEACHER  AND  UNCLE

BILLY  AT  81  YEARS  OLD  IS  STILL  A  PASTOR

IN  THE  PULPIT.  HE  WILL  BE  PREACHING  OR

WITNESSING  UNTIL  THE  LORD  CALLS  HIM  HOME.

~~PRAYER~~

SO  MANY  ARE  IN  NEED  OF  PRAYER

PEOPLE  IN  TENNESSEE  AND  MISSISSIPPI  FOR

FLOODING  AND  PARTS  OF  MISSISSIPPI  TRYING  TO

RECOVER

FROM  NOT  ONLY  LOSS  OF  PROPERTY  BUT  LOSS

OF  PRECIOUS  LOVED  ONES  WHO  CANNOT

BE  REPLACED.

ALL  THE  PEOPLE,  THE  BUSINESSES,  THE  MARINE

LIFE  THAT  IS  GOING  TO  SUFFER  OR  DIE  AS  A

RESULT  OF  THIS  OFF-SHORE  OIL  SPILL.

ALREADY  CUSTOMERS  WHO  WERE  GOING  TO

COME  FOR  THE  SUMMER  HAVE  CALLED  AND

CANCELLED  THEIR  RESERVATIONS.

PEOPLE  ARE  HURTING  EVERYWHERE.

I  HAVE  SPENT  THE  LAST  TWO  NIGHTS

READING  AND  LOOKING  THROUGH  MY

BELOVED  AMY'S  BIBLE.  I  FELT  VERY

CLOSE  TO  GOD  AND  I  KNOW  MY  LIFE  IS

IN  HIS  HANDS  AS  WAS  AMY'S.

MY  BIBLE  IS  LIKE  A  HISTORY  BOOK  WHERE

I  PUT  A  DATE  BESIDE  CERTAIN  SCRIPTURES...

BUT  I  HAVE  NEVER  LOOKED  THROUGH  AMY'S

BIBLE.  SHE  HAS  A  BIBLE  CARRIER/COVER

THAT  ZIPS  UP  AND  IT  IS  A  BIG  SMILEY  FACE.

THE  ZIPPER  PULL  IS  A  LITTLE  ROUND  SMILEY

FACE  THAT  SAYS  JESUS  LOVES  YOU.  IT  JUST

MAKES  YOU  SMILE  LIKE  AMY  ALWAYS  DID.

~~PSALM  61

"A  PRAYER  WHEN  OVERWHELMED"

HEAR  MY  CRY,  O  GOD;

ATTEND  TO  MY  PRAYER.

FROM  THE  END  OF  THE  EARTH

I  WILL  CRY  TO  YOU,

WHEN  MY  HEART  IS  OVERWHELMED;

LEAD  ME  TO  THE  ROCK  THAT  IS

HIGHER  THAN  I.

FOR  YOU  HAVE  BEEN  A  SHELTER

FOR  ME,

AND  A  STRONG  TOWER  FROM  THE

ENEMY.

I  WILL  ABIDE  IN  YOUR  TABERNACLE

FOREVER;

I  WILL  TRUST  IN  THE  SHELTER  OF

YOUR  WINGS.

SELAH

FOR  YOU,  O  GOD,  HAVE  HEARD  MY

VOWS;

YOU  HAVE  GIVEN  ME  THE  HERITAGE

OF  THOSE  WHO  FEAR  YOUR  NAME.........

WOW...Debbie ...you made up for LOST time...I was not sure if I had missed where to post a comment...but glad I finally found it.
I am sorry that you are not feeling your best...we just don't like being "down" do we ? I sure don't.
I have so few tings that our daughter had in the last few yeasrs of her life....all her friends wanted "something of hers"...and lo and behold..we eneded up having little left for ourselves...but at least I rememberd to tell her sisters to choose anything they wanted to keep before I started passing things out.

I KNOW Dawn would have wanted it that way...she was such a TRULY giving person...and it meant a LOT of her friends I'm sure to get them thru their sorrow.
I know you are happy to have Amy's Bible...what a treasure.

Take care of yourself.

Morning Debbie,
Prayed for your list of requests hon. So sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Vertigo can be horrible. Will pray that you are feeling well again soon. That was neat that you were able to look at your daughters bible and it brought you such comfort. Also glad you were able to get your blog up and running again. It is quite disconcerting when you touch one button and lose everything, especially when you have no idea what you did, which is way too often the case with me!! lol Hubby will say well what did you do, and I say I have no idea what I did!!
Computers are wonderful when they are working but a royal pain when they aren't!! lol
You have a good day hon, and sure hope you will be feeling better really soon!
Blessings to you hon,
Nellie

Hello dear Debbie, I am so glad to see you posting. I have thought of your lots of times. The weather here has been so bad for allergies and dampness. We had nearly 9 inches of rain this weekend. I am so glad you have your Amy's bible. That is a priceless treasure. I know you are not a working nurse, but happy Nurses' week. Once a nurse, always a nurse, I say. Blessings to you and yours.

I am so sorry you have vertigo. You know there is a type of therapy - a nose/ear/throat doctor does by turning you head certain ways - I think it is on the internet too.

I pray you feel better soon.

Debbie, so sorry to hear that the vertigo is continuing. It's so dangerous, not just unpleasant.

That Vietnam Vet saved countless of lives in spotting that bomb. People are just crazy in trying to blow up those who disagree with them. It's madness.

Got it covered, sweetpea! Take care, it could be just vertigo and that's okay once it "settles" down.

I am so very sorry Debbie that I have not been around to visit you for awhile. Way too much going on and then the accident happened. I am slowing trying to catch up, but everything takes me longer because I only have access to one hand.
I pray you feel better soon. I too will say prayers for you. I am so happy that you got your blog back on track. What a mess that must have been. Life is just too busy, isn't it. Take care sweetheart and thankyou so much for your kind words and thoughts, Char

Debbie, I'm so glad you're back, your CAPITAL LETTER posts always make me smile. I hope your dizziness goes away soon....I know that can't be any fun!
The days here in bama are so warm and pretty. I sat outside yesterday and a SWARM of butterflies flew all around me. I thought of Amy, I'm sure she was the show-offy one with the bright colors!
Have a beautiful day~

Hi Debbie!!

Thanks so much for the sweet post on my blog this morning. Such a treat to meet a new friend!

I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues. Prayers have been lifted on your behalf!!!!

I love the phrase that your daughter "won the battle" and has graduated to heaven!!! Only those who have true hope in our loving father can look at her death with joy. Not that she's gone, but that she lives and is waiting for the rest of us. While we miss those who leave I can't even imagine wishing them back to this place, although selfishly I'm sure I'd ask!!

I can't begin to imagine what it's like to lose a child. Just not right.

Thanks again for stopping by!!

Debbie - I sent you an email too. My sister and mom had this within the last year. BPPV is a type of vertigo. When the chrystals in your ears get shifted in an ear - it causes vertigo. There are exercises that a person can do to shift them back where they are supposed to be. Physical Therapists can treat it if they are trained in the therapy of BPPV. Usually 1-2 sessions with a PT will fix it. My mom only had to go one time and he moves the head/neck and body in gentle ways to cause everything to go back where God intended it. Seems that a lot more people these days are getting this and their Doctors are given them meds which mask the symptoms but don't heal the real issue. God graciously allowed someone to tell my sister about this - after she'd been suffering for about 2 weeks - unable to function, much like you've described. I will be praying for you too! Love you!

Wow! You have so much life here! That is one of my favorite Psalms, too - my bible is like yours - all marked up and a history lesson. I hope that you feel better soon!
