Oh, they are beautiful, Debbie! Thank you for posting them and making them available to all the world to cherish!!!

They post small but if regular-clicked, will enlarge in a separate window unless someone has changed their browser controls to prevent that. Then they can be right-clicked to save. Either size can be saved. Those little versions would look pretty on a sidebar and the big versions could be used in digital scrapping or printed as postcards to send or frame!

Oh Dear Debbie, I am so glad you stopped by. I tried to change my blog one day and lost all of my blogs on my favorites list. Fooled around and some popped back on. Now they just disappear for no reason, that I know, and I don't realize it. Now I can go in and put yours back on the list. I hope you are doing good and your heart is healing.
Yes we have a big day coming up, doesn't seem possible. Blessings

Debbie, After reading the comment you left on my blog I just had to come back and tell you that we used to take our kids to the local dirt track every Sat night. Our daughter married a stock car driver and now their 2 boys (ages 17 & 15) are racing too. Our grandsons started out in karts, then went to full body stock cars. Now they're primarily racing in the turf (aka mini sprint class.) The youngest one has had the most feature wins for the last 2 seasons - not just in his class but out of all the classes for our 3 local tracks. He also received the "2009 Driver of the Year" last year for the local tracks. That award also took into consideration all of the drivers from the various classes. We are pretty proud of both boys' accomplishments. Racing is a great family sport. Glad you've experienced some of it.

Hi Debbie, Thank you so much for sharing those gorgeous scans. The old postcards are just so beautiful and I always look for them on my hunts. So sorry I am late but I wish you a very happy Pink Saturday.xoxo Lynn

They are beautiful Debbie. To think, they have lasted this long and still in good condition. What makes it even more beautiful is the fact that every card has it's very own story. That once, someone did receive them and have brightened one's day :-)

I checked again on my last PS comment, but I did see that you placed the other blog so I didn't know about this new blog you started.

(about crocheting, you know, you can use a bigger sized hook that one your yarn normally would recommend for. That way, maybe you can avoid crocheting a tighter stitch. :-) )

Okay - finally - I'm "here" on the pink post. Thanks so much for commenting on my pink post saturday. I went outside today and started to pick up my pink-petal-snow, it was too yucky. So, I dead-headed the roses and clipped some of the almos-ready-to-fall blossoms. Have myself a pile of pink, a few red and then I stopped by my blue bonnets and took a few of them. I love your idea of drying and threading them. Might be painstaking but I think that's what I'll do. Thanks! BTW I enjoyed reading your profile. All except the part about your daughter, that brings sadness. Thanks for your testimony. Thanks for reminding us of things we need to remember...and I think I'll follow and grab your forget-me-not card. Thank you so much. Jenn
