HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHER

XOXO

SAMMY  PUT  ON  HIS  TUXEDO.

HE  KNEW  IT  WAS  ONE  OF  HIS  FAVORITE  LADIES'  BIRTHDAY.

HE  WANTED  TO  LOOK  JUST  PERFECT

"DO  YOU  THINK  THIS  TUXEDO  MAKES  ME  LOOK  FAT?"

"I  COULD  PUT  ON  A  MORE  SLIMMING  BOWTIE!"

YUMMY...YUMMY...A  CHOCOLATE  SWIRL  CAKE

YOU  ARE  NEVER  TOO  OLD  YOUNG  FOR  BALLOONS

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY  MOTHER

"PEGGY  ROGERS"

MOTHER  AND  DADDY

"TED  AND  PEGGY  ROGERS"

MARRIED  55  YEARS

MOTHER  AND  MY  BROTHER  TED

MOTHER  AND  ME

DADDY  BOUGHT  US  LUNCH  AT  GOLDEN  CORRAL

MY  BROTHER  AND  I  BOUGHT  THE  CAKE  AND  SHARED  IT  WITH  THE

WAITRESSES  THAT  HAVE  FAITHFULLY  SERVED  OUR  FAMILY  FOR  YEARS

"EAT  CAKE"

MY  HUSBAND  LOVES  TO  CATCH  ME  WITH  MY  MOUTH  FULL....

BUT  HEY  I  AM  NOT  SHY  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  EATING,  ESPECIALLY

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY  MOTHER.

I  LOVE  YOU.

I APPRECIATE  YOU

I  THANK  GOD  FOR  YOU

YOU  ARE  BEAUTIFUL  INSIDE  AND  OUT

I  THANK  GOD,  THAT  DURING  OUR  JOURNEY

TO  SEE  AMY,  OUR  PRECIOUS  BUTTERFLY

HOME,  THAT  WE  CAME  TO  UNDERSTAND,

RESPECT,  AND  FORGIVE  OUR  HURTS.

WE  HAVE  A  BOND  OF  LOVE,  THAT  WAS

ALWAYS  THERE,  BUT  IT NOW  CANNOT  BE  BROKEN.

I  WOULD  NOT  MOTHER,  GIVE  BACK  THAT  TIME

FOR  ANYTHING.   WE  WALKED  A  PAINFUL  PATH

AND  WE  ARE  STILL  WALKING  THAT  PATH,

HAND  IN  HAND,

UNTIL  THE  LORD  CALLS  ONE  OF  US  HOME.

I  REMEMBER  WHEN  AMY  WAS  BORN,  YOU  WENT

TO  THE  PHONE  TO  CALL  GRANDMA,  YOUR

MOTHER,  BUT  SHE  HAD  BEEN  CALLED  HOME

TWO  MONTHS  EARLIER......MOTHER,  I  AM  SO

GLAD  WHEN  AMY  WAS  CALLED  HOME  YOU

WERE  HERE  WITH  RICHARD,  ME,  LEILA,  KORBI,

AND  PASTOR  MARNEY.

I PRAY  THIS  IS  THE  HAPPIEST  BIRTHDAY  YOU

HAVE  EVER  HAD  AND  THAT  YOU  KNOW  YOU

ARE  LOVED  BY  ME,  SHERRY,  AND  TEDDY.

THANK  YOU  AS  ALWAYS  FOR  SPENDING  A  PART  OF  YOUR  DAY  WITH

ME  AND  GRACIE  ANN  AS  WE  CELEBRATE  MY  MOTHER'S  BIRTHDAY.

MY  MOTHER  HAS  WORKED  AS  A  HEART  MONITOR  TECH  FOR  OVER  30  YEARS...

AT  HER  AGE  SHE  STILL  WORKS  12  HOUR  SHIFTS  AND  FEELS  VERY  FORTUNATE

TO  HAVE  A  JOB.  SHE  WILL  NEVER  STOP  WORKING  AND  CARING  FOR  HER

FAMILY.

I  LOVE  YOU  MOTHER

Happy Birthday to your Mother! You are very lucky to have your mother. Cherish each moment with her too. My mother passed away 28 years ago when I was only 22 years old. There is not a day that goes by without me thinking of her. I do know she and Amber are in Heaven together with your sweet Amy.
Blessings & Big Hugs,

Debbie Dear ~ Hello there! Happy Beautiful Birthday to your mother, Peggy!! (My mother's name was Peggie also.) Your mother's Bday cake looks and sounds delicious - chocolate swirl - yum! So kind of ya'll to share it with the waitresses. I haven't been to Golden Corral in a long time - it's so hard to go there and not overeat big time!

I'm so very glad that you had both your mom and dad with you this past year - what a blessing. It is so lovely that your mom and you are closer than ever after this last year's shared experience. The Lord can always bring beautiful blessings out of even the worst tragedies. Thank you Lord...

Cynthia K. (Beauty and Blessings)

P.S. You look so cute in these pictures!

Oh Debbie,
Happy Birthday to your sweet MOM. How lucky you are to still have both of your parents. I lost my Dad very suddenly in 2000 he was only 69 and just retired. My Mom and I are very close , she will turn 80 in June and can run circles around me!!!! I treasure every moment with her. I know special days like this make it only more difficult for you without Amy...because you are probably thinking...SHE SHOULD BE HERE. I'm sure she was celebrating in HEAVEN.....with you.....may be even having some ANGEL CAKE............
Hugs,
Lynn
